January 27th 2019
Rebecca was fast asleep when she felt bouncing and she opened her eyes to see her rambunctious daughter jumping up and down on the hotel bed.
"What is with you today?" she questioned "You literally just woke up and you're so full of energy" she said
"It's my birthday!" Remi yelled
"Is it?" Rebecca questioned "Man, I knew there was something else special happening this weekend"
"Mommy!" she exclaimed
"I'm kidding!" she pulled the little girl down into her chest "How could I ever forget this day?"
"I put you through a lot of pain" the little girl nodded
"Yeah" Rebecca nodded "You did" she said "but ya know what, I'd do it all over again" she kissed her head
"Really?" she looked up at her mother "but it hurt" she said concerned
"It did, a lot.. but when you get older and you have your own baby you'll understand what I mean"
"Daddy said no babies and no boyfriends until I'm 45"
"I'm sure he did" Rebecca nodded "I say you can have boyfriends, there's nothing wrong with that but give me a little more time to prepare for it"
"How old?"
"I say 16" she said
"That's not that long" the little girl shook her head
"Its not.. but for now, can you just stay my little baby?"
"What about having a baby.." she said "How old do I have to be to be a mom?"
"How old do you have to be do be a mom?" she questioned and the little girl nodded "32" she said
"You're not 32 for three more days mommy" she looked up at her confused
"How old was I when I had you do you know?"
"26" the little girl announced
"Just because I had you at 26 doesn't mean you have a baby at 26.. or anytime before that" she said "Just as long as you're done with college.. and you have a nice job"
"Like a wrestler?" she questioned
"Why can't you just pick a nice desk job?"
"Mommy that's not fair" she shook her head
"It is too.. I did every job under the sun before this"
"That's not with uncle Rich says.. he says you did this first"
"Stop listening to your Uncle Rich" she said and there was a knock on the door
"Daddy!" Remi jumped off her mother's lap and ran to the door
The little girl opened the door and saw her father standing there with a smile
"A little bird told me its somebody's fifth birthday" Colby said as he hand the little girl the bouquet of pink and gold balloons
"Was it mommy?" she questioned "Mommy! Daddy called you a bird!" the little girl exclaimed as she walked in the room
"Hey!" Colby said as he followed his little girl into the room
"Lopez!" Rebecca said
"I mean you can see how I can get confused, you're constantly chirping at me" he said and the redhead hit his arm
Remi requested breakfast with both of her parents before he Royal Rumble pay-per-view which she got.
She requested an iphone but Rebecca and Colby both immediately shot that down and instead got her an ipad that they could monitor.
Once getting to the Pay-per-view, she wanted to sit front row which they were going to let her do anyway but since it was her birthday they had to let her believe she was getting what she asked for.
When they both won their Royal Rumble matches the first person they saw was Remi jumping up and down as Josh fought to keep a hand on her to keep her from climbing the barricade and running to her parents.
They arrived back at the hotel late that night and the little girl was still wired. It was going to be a late night if Rebecca didn't get the little girl down soon, that much she did know.
"WAIT!" Remi exclaimed as her parents walked out of the conjoining room after tucking her in
"What?" Rebecca asked
"I want one more thing" she said
"Remi its late" Colby said
"Please!" she pleaded and the parents looked at each other
"What?" Rebecca questioned
"Kiss" the little girl said
"What?" Colby laughed
"Kiss" the little girl said again and Rebecca laughed
"You are crazy munchkin" Rebecca shook her head
"Lopez!" Remi yelled and Colby looked over at his daughter, Rebecca was the only one to ever call him that and he saw the little girl climb out of the bed "Kiss her right now!" she stomped her little foot as her arms were folded across her chest
Rebecca and Colby stared at each other, neither one moving, each one afraid of making the first move.
"Screw it" Colby shrugged before he grabbed Rebecca's face in his hands and pulled her lips to his quickly but gently
Rebecca was the first to pull away when she remembered their daughter was watching them and she looked at Colby for a second with her jaw on the floor and he quickly closed her mouth with his hand and a smirk
"I now announce you husband and wife!" Remi exclaimed
"One, we're not together" Rebecca said "and two that is not how that works"
"Wait for it.." the little girl nodded with a smile glued to her face
