Rebecca walked into the living room where Remi was sitting on the couch holding a fussy Riley in her arms.

"Mommy hurry!" Remi exclaimed "She's getting mad" she said

"Remi I can only walk so fast" she said as she walked over to the couch and handed the bottle to her daughter as she sat next to her "Let's put this pillow under you" she said moving one of the throw pillows under her daughter's elbow

"She's getting mad" Remi looked down at her sister who was crying now

"She's hungry" Rebecca said "Kinda like when you get upset when you're hungry" she said and she placed the bottle in the baby's mouth and she began to eat eagerly and Remi took over holding the bottle "Keep it close, we don't want her to get air"

"I like this" Remi smiled up at her mother

"You like feeding her?" Rebecca asked

"Yeah" Remi nodded "but I like you teaching me how to take care of her"

"Why?"

"Cause when I get bigger and I have a baby I'll know how to do it because I have the best mommy to show me"

"Oh my god" Rebecca pulled her daughter slightly into her chest and kissed her head "I love you, you have no idea how much I love you and how special you are"

"It's true" Remi nodded "You take care of me and you don't make me feel left out" she said and Rebecca nodded

"I try my hardest, I've tried over the last few days of being home to be there for you as much as I can"

"You're doing great" Remi nodded "Right Riley? She's doing great" she looked down at her sister who was still eating as she looked up at her older sister

"Even though I'm losing my mind because I'm so tired?"

"At least you're trying unlike somebody" she said passive aggressively

"I think I know where this is going" Rebecca nodded and her daughter looked up at her "Your daddy"

"He sucks at it"

"Remi" Rebecca shook her head

"He does! He spends more time with Riley then he does with me"

"He's trying Rem, he really is"

"No" the little girl shook her head "You try, he just picks her"

"That's not her fault" Rebecca looked down at Riley

"I know" Remi nodded "I'm not mad at her" she shook her little head

"Colby!" Rebecca called out and saw him appear from upstairs "Come here" she said

Colby walked down the stairs cautiously, that voice was her angry voice, it was calm and emotionless and he knew he was in trouble over something.

"What did I do now?" he asked as he sat down on the couch

"You suck" Remi said and Colby's eyes widened as he looked at Rebecca

"Remi" Rebecca scolded with a shake of her head

"I just said it and you didn't get mad" Remi said to her mother

"You have to be nice when he's sitting here" Rebecca said

"What is going on?" Colby asked, breaking up the conversation

"Remi, is feeling a little left out since Riley has come"

"But you're always with your mom"

"Yeah.. i'm with mommy, not you" Remi shook her head and Rebecca took the bottle from her daughter and placed it on the coffee table

"I'm sorry Remi, I'm trying to spend time with Riley and make sure she's okay"

"I think that's the problem" Rebecca said as she placed Riley over her shoulder and gently patted her back "You're focusing more on Riley and Remi feels like you don't care about her"

"He doesn't" Remi folded her arms across her chest

"I do too" Colby nodded "I love you more than you'll ever know" he said and the little girl rolled her eyes

"Remi.. if you're thinking something say it" Rebecca said

"I don't wanna get in trouble" she shook her head

"You won't ever get in trouble for talking to us and telling us how you really feel" Rebecca shook her head "I don't want you to ever feel like you have to hide things"

"Daddy wasn't here when I was a baby and now he's trying to pay more attention to Riley because he wasn't here" she stated and Rebecca's eyes widened

"Remi, I'm not trying to ignore you" Colby said as the little girl stood up from the couch

"Wouldn't be the first time in my life" she shook her little head "Just leave until Riley turns three"

"Remington Dannielle!" Rebecca scolded and the little girl shook her head at her mother

"It's true.. she'll be fine with you"

"Where is this coming from? You're six!" Colby said

"I'm a kid, not stupid" she said "Can I go live with Nan?" she asked

"What are you talking about?" Rebecca asked

"I love you but I wanna go live with Nan" she said

"Why?" Colby asked

"You can be happy without me" she said and Rebecca stood up and put Riley in her swing gently before walking over to her daughter and bending down in front of her

"What is going on in that tiny head of yours?" she asked looking her in the eyes

"I can go live with Nan and you can be happy with Daddy and Riley"

"Remi.." Colby walked over to his daughter and bent down next to Rebecca "We would not be happy without you" he shook his head "You are part of this family"

"You didn't like this family three years ago" Remi shook her head

"Remi, what the.. you are never angry.. and you've never said any of this to me" Colby said and the little girl stared at him, it was a frozen absent stare

"Remi.." Rebecca said and her daughter didn't stop staring at her father "Remi" Rebecca said again "Remington Danielle" she said and she didn't move

"What is happening?" Colby asked "Why is she just staring at me?"

"Remi, move" Rebecca said and she saw her daughter blink a few times and then look around before looking at her

"What happened?" the little girl asked as she looked between both of her parents who looked at one another "What did I do?" she questioned clearly confused

"Do you remember what just happened a minute ago?" Rebecca asked

"I was feeding Riley" Remi pointed to the couch "Where did she go?"

"She's in the swing" Rebecca said and Remi walked over to the swing and looked at her sister

"She's cute" she smiled

"Rebecca" Colby said and his wife looked at him "What the hell just happened?"
