The Retrieval

Phoenix took a deep breath as she walked into the hospital entrance.
Her button nose winkled as the sterile smell reached her senses.
'Okay,time to make a game plan,'
She thought as as she took in the plain gray walls.
'Step 1:Get past the desk,'
She took a deep breath in and breathed out.
'I got this.'
With a new confidence she elegantly made her way to the front desk,plastering on a fake smile like a second skin.
"Hello,sweetheart,can I help you?,"
Her lips twitched as she heard the women's thick southern accent.
Accidently, Phoenix got lost in her head and almost missed her que.
"Ummmm..."
phoenix smiled awkwardly at the older looking nurse.

'Think.Pheonix.Think'
'That's it'

She thought smiling brightly.
The Nurse,Lily her name tag read,coughed lightly to get the girl out of her thoughts.

"I'm here to volunteer to talk to the residents because I know not all of them get a lot of visitors,"

Lily smiled at the big heart the girl had,and responded with a bright smile,

"Go on up,little daydreamer,7th floor."

Phoenix smiled at Lily and thanked her before heading to the elevator.

She hit the call button for the elevator,
'Why do I feel like that this is gonna mean more than a retrieval mission later?'
She frowned at the thought,but ultimately shrugged it off.

'Oh well,'

She hummed as she hit the button with the number seven on it.

The elevator door opened to reveal a round desk in the center of the lobby and directly to the left of the elevator,there was a patient waiting area.
Directly across from Phoenix was big,red double doors that read,
'Staff only.'
The doors required a swipe from a staffs card,to grant you access through the doors

'Dammit'

,Phoenix muttered to herself.

'How am I gonna con a card from an experienced staff member?'

She plopped herself down in a nearby hospital chair.
And took out her mini notebook that read:

MISSION:Happily ever after
Objective:Getting my family together.
Phase one:The Grab + Go.
Details~
1.Go under cover and get into the Academy hospital using a false pretence.
2.Steal the needed files from right under the Academy's nose.
3.Make a clean Getaway.

Phase 2:Wild Goose Chase
(Because every good spy movie has one) ;).

She sighed and skipped a few pages,wanting to know which skills of hers might come in handy.
