"What's your questions Pegs?" John said, sad he didn't get his kiss. Peggy breathed in "Why did your baby Momma stop you from seeing your daughter?" She said.  John turned pale and felt butterflies in his stomach.  It had been weeks sense John told Peggy about his kid and she hadn't asked any further questions until now.  "Why?" He said,  he couldn't lie to her. Not again.  He loved her so much and knew eventually he'd have to tell her.  Tell her everything about him,  but he knew it would alter her perception of him and her own brother-in-law. "Oh well,  both these children are my niece and nephew though one might not be by blood,  and I hope they can be your niece and nephew too." She sighed "I was thinking about it on the way back from the hospital,  I thought you would be good with kids because you had a kid but" She was cut off by John "but you thought about how I'm not aloud to see her and that maybe I did something wrong" He sighed "Peggy, I know I'll have to tell you the details sooner or later,  but all I can tell you for now is" A look of worry came over Peggy's face as he said that "I did something regrettable.  Something that haunts me and I did that something with someone close to you" He said looking down at Peggy.  A minute of silence went by "John" Peggy said breaking the silence "I don't know what to say, I'm confused.  I want to kiss you,  I want to know what you did, but most of all  I want to know if that person is Alexander" She said and as soon as those words slipped off her tounge John's face gave it all away "How did you figure it out so fastly" He said obviously worried. "Please the tension between you too at the baby shower was so obvious,  it was kinda funny" She laughed. John just sighed then perked up "Did you say you wanted to kiss me?" He stated one eyebrow lifted "I think I did,  though now I could use some cuddles" Peggy said "Deal!" John exclaimed "race ya to the couch" Peggy shouted and sprinted to the living room. John followed shortly after.
---next morning---
Peggy woke up in Johns arms.  Her mental alarm clock had gone off and she knew it was time to start working.  You see Peggy worked from 6 in the morning to about 12 then from 7pm-10pm (if she had a project due soon) in the afternoon.  You see Peggy was a editor for a video production company called "Delia's Dancers" It was the company that got Angelica her start in the film industry and becoming a actress. Peggy enjoyed editing videos 6 to 9 hour days that were all from home,  she actually only went into the office at the end of each month.  Today was Friday it was 5:45am and Peggy was ready to work.  She covered John with a blanket and went to her computer which was upstairs in her office.  Peggy had been working for 3 hours when all of a sudden Maria burst into her office "Pegs!" She said obviously over the moon about something "Maria shouldn't you be resting?" Peggy said spinning in her chair to face Maria "Thomas just offered to let me move in with him!" She said smiling "Thomas who?" Peggy said "Jefferson!" She said "His wife and him are finally fully divorced ,  she's takem the dogs and he needs company, and sense we've been seeing each other for a while he thought maybe me and Susan could move in with him!" Maria was extremely happy about this,  Peggy who had only heard briefly one day at like 1 am about Maria having met Thomas at the diner and them hitting it off and how when his wife and him started the process of getting a divorce him and her started dating,  Peggy was to tired to really understand it at the time.  Now she did "Oh that's great Maria" Peggy said. Maria,  still very happy said "Now Pegs,  John can move in here and you guys won't have to worry about me getting in the way of you guys  relationship!" She breathed for a second "I'm moving in with him later today,  the movers will be here to pick up my stuff at 1" She said happily.  "Maria,  you are one of my best friends and I'm so happy for you,  but are you sure it's a good decision" Peggy said worry in her voice "Pegs,  I know he's your brother-in-laws arch nemesis but I want Susan to have a father figure and I think Thomas will be a great father to my little girl" Maria said still smiling,  Peggy defeated, nodded her head in agreement.  She was sad about Maria's decision but knew it was what Maria thought was best and that Thomas was actually a good person and would make a good father for Susan and maybe some more kids of Maria's.  5 minutes of Peggy sitting there alone because Susan started crying and Maria rushed to tend to the 2 day old child has passed when she decided to go see if John was up. As she was walking down the stairs John was walking up to them and Peggy stopped "Oh hey John your up" She said waving "Yeah I am, I was just gonna say bye before I head to the shop" John had quit the military before moving to New York and had found work at a small guns and ammunition shop.  He was a hard worker and knew what he was talking about, he had easily become a managers favorite and was set up to become assistant manager soon "Oh ok,  you wanna come over for dinner tonight?" She said,  John nodded and walked down the stairs and left.  Peggy looked at her watch it wasn't even ten o'clock and she had so much on her mind. She needed someone to talk to, and she knew just the person.  Peggy checked her watch after saving the final editfor the commercial it was 11:25,  perfect.  She took out her phone and texted her sister
Pegzey:  Anggeelliiccaaaaaaaaaa

Angelica:  Peggy!  It's been so long! 

Pegzey:  it really has been!  Maybe like what a month since we talked?

Angelica:  We should meet for lunch!

Pegzey:  I was gonna ask you the same thing!!

Angelica:  today 12:30?

Pegzey:  Where?

Angelica:  Hmm maybe like Chili's?

Pegzey:  Sure,  see ya then

Peggy went downstairs to watch TV for 20 minutes until she needed to get ready.  Eventually those 20 minutes passed and Peggy went to get dressed,  she knew since Angelica picked Chilis she wanted to be incognito therefore she'd be dressed down,  so Peggy did the same.  It was kinda cold out so she dressed in a short slaves pineapple short,  some cute jeans boots and a leather jacket.  She also pulled her hair into a quick bun.  She arrived at the Chilis 5 minutes late and immediately saw her sister "Angelica!" She said and raced to hug her sister "Peggy" Angelica said getting up for the incoming hug "it's been so long,  I have so much to talk about" Peggy said and sat down "First ,  have you met Philip yet?  He's adorable" She said and Angelica frowned "This is my first off day sense the baby shower, but I'm going to see them after this!" She exclaimed "Do you wanna come?" She said "Sorry but I can't" Peggy said "Maria's moving out and the trucks are coming in like 20 minutes so after this is done I'm going to go help" She said "Wow,  did Maria find a place that quick?  Didn't she have a kid like 2 days ago?" Angelica asked.  "Well I mean not exactly" Peggy said "Whatcha mean?" Angelica asked clearly confused,  Peggy sighed "She found a new roommate,  and by that I mean she found Tommy". Angelica gasped Tommy was the code word Peggy,  Eliza and her used for Thomas Jefferson when they were in public.  " Really?!?!  She's moving in with Tommy " Angelica practically gasped that whole sentence "Why" She asked.  "Because they've been a 'thing' for like 7 months and she wants a father figure for her child" She said and the waitress came out with their drinks and appetitzer which holted their conversation and gave Angelica time to process what Maria has just said,  you see Angelica and Thomas we're friends.  But they occasionally were a bit more then friends of course nobody,  not even Peggy knew this.  "wow that's something" Angelica said defeated.  "It really is,  now I'm gonna be back in my house alone" Peggy frowned "Well at least until John thinks we're ready to move in with each other" She said a half smile coming back to her face "Ooh so you and John are together" Angelica said,  trying to move the conversation from Thomas.  "yes we are" Peggy said...
--Peggy and Angelica have finished lunch and Peggy is now helping get the last of Maria's things into the truck-
"Remember Maria,  if you ever need somewhere to go,  you can come here" Peggy said tearing up "Oh Pegs don't cry" Maria said holding Susan in her arms "I know this is all of a sudden but I think it's the best option,  I want Susan to be close to her aunt Pegs but I also want her to have a father figure and I think Thomas will be a good one" Maria said almost crying herself "I'm gonna miss you guys" Peggy said, definitely crying now.  The girls heard a honk and a purple Porsche pulled up the driver side door opened up and a man about 6ft tall in a purple polo and cackis emerged,  his signature afro-like hair gave his identity away, it was none other then Thomas Jefferson.  Maria looked over at Thomas then to Peggy "I'm gonna miss you to Pegs,  but we're gonna visit all the time" Maria said gesturing to the tiny child she was holding.  Thomas walked up "Maria, my darling" He said kissing her then turning it Peggy "Margarita,  it's been so long how are you?" Thomas smiled warmly,  Thomas was a very nice man in general.  He just hated Alexander Hamilton with a  passion "I'm doing good Thomas, how about you?" She smilied "I'm doing great actually" Thomas put his hands in his pockets and looked at Maria "Darling we only have these trucks for another hour we must be goin" He smiled again "It was nice seeing you Margarita" He waved and with Maria walked away.  Peggy was sad,  a chapter off her life had just closed and she had quite enjoyed that chapter.  At last she knew it was time for a new chapter,  a chapter were she worked on herself , her career and her relationships with people,  specifically John and that would start in 4 hours with dinner.
