"I'm so sorry if that was too straightforward um.. I-" Chaeyoung mentally threw herself off a bridge. She had no idea where that came from, it's like it wasn't even her talking anymore.

"Um thanks Chaeyoung-"

"Uh Chae or Chaeng or whatever you wanna, ya know, anyway continue" She said in this small coy voice that came out of nowhere as well. What the hell is going on with me, was all she was thinking.

"Heh ok, Chaeng, thank you for the gesture but I can't put you through that, besides I have it all figured out I think." She lied, she didn't want Bam Bam or her dad to know where she was staying and this was basically the perfect idea, but she couldn't possibly stay with Chaeyoung it would be totally weird.

After all they have been through together she really didn't know what could happen, they could end up hating each other for real this time, her dad could find out that she's in hiding and hurt Chaeyoung. Chaeng, Chaengie. STOP YOURSELF MINA.

"Well that's ok" Chae's now back to her normal deep tone which brought Mina out of her thoughts.

"I can still take your number though, you don't mind right, I mean i'm practically the only person you know here, I hope that doesn't seem weird haha" She was genuine, she couldn't imagine Mina being all alone in her situation. She didn't really know Mina that well either and she would like to, of course, she would never admit it though.

"Sure, yeah I guess that's ok" Mina fished for her phone in her bag. While doing so Chaeng couldn't help but notice her voice change, it was no longer stern, more like her guard was down like this was the real Mina.

"Here put it in, gimme yours so I can do the same." Chaeyoung did as told and entered her information leaving a little devil and tiger emoji at the end of her name.

Chaeyoung was distracted by the contents of her phone.

"Minari (Penguin emoji)" I guess she likes penguins, she thought.

Mina returned Chae's phone and walked away.

"See you around Chaeyoung, thanks for everything"

"Huh?" When she looked up she saw Mina waving at her with a sweet smile.

"Oh wow" Chaeyoung swore she was in a drama with the way things were going in her life.

She waved back but hesitated for a bit. "I have a car" she remembered

"Wait, do you need a ride?!" She yelled to get her attention.

"Uh sure ok!" she came waddling back.

"Where's your car?"Chae couldn't wait for her reaction.

"Right here" I directed her attention to my Porsche.

"Woah, you didn't tell me you were rich."

"Wait till you see my house...es" Chaeyoung smirked and opened the door for her passenger.

Mina bowed and obliged to this gentleman of a woman, but she suddenly remembered their encounter at the bar. Her cheeks started to get hot, she attempted to open the car door but Chaeyoung was already in the driver's seat.

"Is everything alright?" Chaeyoung saw her slightly panicking while she was getting in. But why?

"No i'm alright sorry about that, I um, I was just thinking about that night at the bar when we met" Chaeyoung completely forgot about that night. She started to sweat a bit thinking about how they were practically hitting on each other.

"Oh right, that night, interesting now that I come to think about it haha" Chaeyoung was clearly a lot more nervous now.

"We don't have to talk about the fact that we were both drunk as hell" Chaeyoung playfully added, trying to lift the now awkward atmosphere.

"I actually don't remember being that drunk since..... I don't know how long actually" Mina said, making herself feel even more embarrassed.

"Well next time you go to a bar, go with someone, you're not ugly Mina, and men are disgusting, that's one of the many reasons why I don't date them" Chaeyoung just realised what came out her mouth and mentally cringed. Mina on the other hand liked the straightforwardness.

"Yeah they are, I guess that's why I'm into girls too unless I find a good man who I'm sure is out there somewhere, if he is indeed my soulmate."

The atmosphere became thinner due to the mutual topic that was being discussed. They both felt comfortable again at this point, however, the butterflies in each of their stomachs gave them a hard time whenever they would smile or look at each other.

" I'm sure you'll find someone"

They drive for a while, Mina giving the latter directions to her hotel.

"Oh you're staying in a hotel, see it's a good thing I offered you to stay at my place." Mina thought Chaeyoung was being a bit persistent with that but she was persuaded however. She felt kind of safe with Chaeyoung, she knew she was gonna take care of her but she needed to consult with Nayeon first.

"I told you I'd think about it Chaeyoung, if you keep pushing me I might change my mind," Mina said with a playful voice while staring at Chaeyoung.

"Alright, I'll back off........ A bit." Chaeyoung gazed at the girl as she was getting out of the car.

"I'll see you Chaeyoung." She waved goodbye and walked into the hotel. Chaeyoung waved back and sighed loudly.

"Who would've thought, in a million fucking years" She ran her hands through her hair as if she was frustrated, or maybe she was just amazed at how the universe worked.

Mina POV

Wow, who would've thought we would be cool after all these years.

*Sigh*

Oh crap Nayeon unnie, what time is it?

" 11:30pm " oh ok we're good, I hope, this girl can be really unpredictable sometimes.

"MINARIIII, I'M HEREEEEE" oh no.

I turn around to see Nayeon holding her heels in her hands, her hair all out and messy, but she's not alone. A tall figure steps out in a black leather jacket, black jeans basically black everything, with shades even though it's frickin midnight. I know this person.

"Jeongyeon?!"
