Chaeyoung POV
The next morning
*Sigh* That poor kid. I don't know what I would've done if his reaction was any different. Thankfully he understood why I didn't tell him. We have no need for this drama in our life, we are just starting to live after finally letting go of what we never had.
"Hoonie?" I knocked on his door quietly, careful not to wake him if he was still sleeping. I noticed that his face is under the covers so I just left him. He went to bed crying last night, I had to comfort him in bed to try to get him to sleep.
I walked downstairs to see what Dahyun was up to and I found her making a big breakfast. After all, there were like four people in the house soon to be five.
CRAP. Mina's coming and I have this to deal with, I should ask her when she's coming.
Me: Hey when do you plan on getting here?
"Who ya texting?" Dahyun said while flipping her delectable pancakes.
"Mina, she's supposed to move in today, remember. It was gonna be awkward before but now since this whole mom thing, and Hoonie is basically in distress, I don't know how things will be. I hope she doesn't feel uncomfortable unnie." but there's a big chance she might and I don't want that to happen.
"Don't worry about it, if you want I can entertain her."
"How are you gonna do that?" I asked in a confused tone.
"I don't know, I'll just try to get to know her, you know since we will be new house buddies. Oh I'll introduce her to my friends tomorrow they're both Japanese, that'll work right."
"Yeah I guess so. We don't really have anything else."
Mina: "Um maybe later this afternoon, I still gotta put things in place. Why is everything ok?"
Whew ok I have time to, I don't know, I guess feel better and have Jung Hoon feel better too.
Me: "Don't worry everything's fine. I just wanted to know so I can have your room ready and stuff"
The guest room is pretty dusty and the comforters are oldish ugh and the colour is like a bright orange. Who the hell designed this room. That's it I gotta go shopping.
"Dahyun unnie, i'm going out to get supplies for Mina's room, if Hoonie wants anything you'll take care of it right?" I said with a pleading look on my face.
This is a good way to get my mind off of things, when Hoonie comes out of his dark hole i'll help him find something to do, but for now I gotta surprise my incoming guest.

Mina POV
"So, I can't tell you where i'm staying Wendy because Bam Bam may torture you for my soon to be address, but trust that i'm safe ok" I had to call Wendy to inform her about what's going on. I wished her well and hung up.
"Hey Mina-ssi, do you need help packing?" Nayeon asked me, I nodded yes. I haven't told her about the Jeongyeon stuff yet, and I'm contemplating whether I should or not. I am definitely over Jeongyeon plus that was a long time ago, Nayeon wouldn't care right? We never ended things properly, maybe there's something residual. Ugh I hate it when unwanted thoughts just start to flood my mind, how annoying.
"Are you ok Minari? You seem lost." Nayeon could read me like a book at any point in time, It's kinda scary to be honest.
"I don't know, probably because i'm moving in with my mortal enemy who is no longer my enemy so it's really awkward now." She stared at me, trying to hold in her laughter.
She knew I was nervous, I knew I was nervous, but I couldn't understand why. We are adults now so the past shouldn't bother me. I don't like to dwell on things that make me unnecessarily worry. I learned that skill while working for my dad, it really helped me out because I realized worrying was such a big waste of time. I used to have breakdowns all the time because I thought I wasn't good enough for anything. I learned a lot of things from working for my dad that I don't regret but it felt like a prison in there otherwise.
"That about covers it right, Minari. I'll have Jeongie help you with the suitcases then we can all go for lunch." She said happily, shaking her fists like a happy little girl.
I was the complete opposite.
I hardly want Jeogyeon and I to be alone.
"Hey Minari, I'll take these." She said taking the luggage.
"Don't call me that" We should only have a strict relationship, no nicknames, no casual lunch dates even if there's a third party, nothing.
I followed her with one last bag I had.
She put the bags in the trunk and leaned against the car like it was her's. I visibly eye rolled so that she could notice, but she didn't budge.
"You can go now" I glared at her while tidying my car.
"What no thank you Mina-ssi, that's kinda rude" She said so while placing her hand on her chest as though she was wounded.
"That was the point." Still not looking at her I answered coldly.
"Look Mina, I know that we have history or whatever but don't you think we should put that behind us" I looked at her
"Unless you want me to explore that body of yours a little more."
I knew it.
"FUCK OFF YOO JEONGYEON" I got in my car and sped off, I couldn't face Nayeon and tell what her disgusting girlfriend said to me. I'll have to tell her everything one day though, I can't escape that.

Author POV
Chaeyoung was walking through the hardware picking out some wallpaper for Mina's room. She figured both Mina and herself can go shop for the little things like little paintings, vases or curtains, basically anything she wants, she just wants Mina to feel comfortable given their history.
"Oh this cinnamon red looks nice, I hope she'll like it" She said admiring the samples.
Just then, an unexpected customer walked in the store.
Chaeyoung didn't notice though, how could she when she was so engrossed with her wallpaper samples.
A few minutes flew past and she was ready to check out. As she was standing in line she noticed someone next to her, staring. She didn't like that feeling of eyes on her, so she decided to do something about it.
"Um, you're staring, can I help you?" She spoke, quietly not to embarrass the woman. What was strange is that she felt that the woman felt familiar.
"Oh sorry, for everything" Chaeyoung was a bit confused, what did she mean by everything, she only just met this woman.
"NEXT" Chaeyoung let the woman check out before her as she had less things. Her items were a bit weird, some sort of acid, rope, and some smaller items she couldn't make out. The woman also looked a bit tired and beaten down, like if she was homeless. She wondered how she could possibly recognize this woman.
Chaeyoung finished checking out and headed to her car, on her way out she saw Bam Bam, what the hell was he even doing here she thought. From what Chaeyoung saw, he led a woman into his lambo, the woman rolled her window down and she was able to see the woman's face.
"What the hell is actually going on."
