This poem is inspired by the novel Who's Afraid Of The Big Bad Wolf by janie1617

The Queen.

She glows brightly even on her darkest of days.
She glows brightly even when she's breaking inside.
She glows bright with tears streaming down her face.
She glows brightly even when she knows she's dying.
You see she glows not for herself but for those surrounding her.
Little Hoods and little goddesses
Wolves
Vampires
Angels.
She glows for all of those who seek her out as their Queen and she roars in the faces of her enemies.
Mighty is she, the girl who died in red and was reborn in gold.
Hear her roar into battle and weep at the souls of the innocents lost.
For she is fearsome but she is not cold.
She's warmth and light in the darkness and sometimes she's even that darkness she fears most.
