The night of the full moon.

" It's going to be okay." The man reassured the anxious woman. They were both standing in what seemed like an ancient bunker belonging to the Hale family. The majority of this mighty family sadly passed away in an accident where their property was burnt down to the grounds.
This tragedy also known as the "Hale Arson Conspiracy" led to severe mental damage regarding one of the survivors. Peter Hale had been in a coma for over five years, only his mind and him. In his naufragous state the only way to not be devoured by the lingering monsters inside him, was to focus his burning hatred toward the external world. Peter had always lacked empathy leading to his manipulative nature, though somewhere deep inside him he still attempted to fight his nature. This kept him human.

Nonetheless, after nearly being burnt alive his feeling started to fade as well as his will to suppress his true cruel self. He began to sincerely embrace his identity as psychopath and toyed with everything and anyone until he eventually broke them to the point where his victims were traumatized and unable to continue.
His vengeance itched deep under his skin, every second his corpus only sought sorrow and destruction of others. Now his ultimate ikigai was to hold the blood of his assassin in his hand after inflicted so much agony that the only thing those people wished for was to never have been born.

However, his aspiration was at stake, since his nephew Derek Hale along with Scott McColl, his beta, tried to bring him down. Luckily, Peter still had a considerable head start and his ultimate card was not played yet. The only thing he needed was enough time to perfect his idea of his special joker. Hopefully, his new beta would be able to fulfil this role, if not he still had another potential girl of whom Peter was absolutely sure she could help him. Nonetheless, since the girl was in the immediate surroundings of the body, the man had chosen the women first. Nobody would care about her disappearance anyway.

" I am now going to chain you up, so you won't go berserk and kill a bunch of deer." Peter informed the beta Ava Banner whose dark brown eyes glanced at him with uncertainty as she responded with a nod. She still wore one of his white V-neck shirts which covered most of her body accompanied by a dark legging she had brought from her flat. The man had to admit that he has grown somewhat attached to her over the past few months. If it wasn't for his emotionless self, he would have felt sorry for her and the things he did.

Frankly, some things Peter had told her were no lies such as the fact that he found her beautiful.
Her dark chocolate hair barely covering her shoulders in combination with her deer-like eyes and full lips could make every man go crazy if she only knew how to use those.
Even the mole below her eye or the bump on her nose were mesmerizing, even though a lot of people found them undesirable.
To him, the worst of all which irritated him the most was her character. Her cheeky, faked though manner annoyed him, but not as much as her empathetic and warm demeanour.
He hated it with a great passion, because Ava defencelessly sacrificed herself for him. He did not even know for himself why this thought filled him with anger.

Peter grabbed the huge black chest with the silver chains in it and carried it all the way to Ava. Unlike him, she needed those to stay where she was. The full moon was the peak of a werewolf's power, simultaneously it was also the very moment they most of the time lost control. Peter had learnt to control his raising animal instincts through his personal anchor which in his case was the burning rage.

As he returned to the main complex of the bunker, Ava was kneeling on the cold beton floor. This sight provoked very special moments in him to surface. Images of her naked body clouded his mind. Yeah, they had sex, although this was the most stupid thing one could have done as regards of her physical and psychological condition. He knew how reckless this action was, though his desires were stronger than his ratio at this particular moment.
He shook his head lightly, to him this was definitely not the time to think about things like this.

" Is there something bothering you, Peter?" a calm voice asked concerned.
" Not really, I've only thought about how we could find your anchor to stay in control. You see, we cannot keep on shackling you. At least not when you are in your werewolf form. " An amused smile played on the corner of his mouth, he was such a perverted soul, not that he was bothered by it. Not in the slightest.
Immediately, she blushed: "Was this really necessarily, Peter?"
" No" Peter replied honestly while unlocking the wooden chest, a smile still on his lips, "Though, I am afraid this might be. "
His hands grabbed and lifted the cold metal, so Ava could see what was hidden in it. She gulped deeply. She looked like a scared kid, Peter thought, but then discarded the though again. It did not matter, Ava only had one reason to be here from the beginning.

" Don't worry, it looks worse than it actually was. My father personally put me in those occasionally", stated the man in order to calm her down, without thinking he even unravelled one of his secrets. He mentally cursed at himself, every bit of personal information had the power to show her his weaknesses which she might use against him.
" This is horrible, Peter ", was the only thing Ava said with worried expression. She was not lying.
" It's fine. Could you please go over there", he pointed to the opposite side of the room, full of metal shelves.
She obediently did as he said and walked to the mentioned place. He quietly followed her with his "equipment".
" Out of experience, I advise you to try not to fight your instincts. This only will raise your aggression level, so try to embrace it as much as you can. I am your alpha, so I will try to establish a mind connection between us. But don't worry, I will stay by your side. "
Once again, Ava only nodded. This experience already slightly overwhelmed her.

Peter nodded as well and started to put those chains onto her, around the same time a weird tension arose between them. Ava did not dare to look at him and only concentrated on the metal bar of the shelf. Peter on the other hand tried his best not to harm her unlike his father had done. Now, he is dead, he thought. Killed with his wife and daughter.
" Why aren't you looking at me?" Peter demanded slightly annoyed as he locked the last lock.
His memories were totally ruining his mood. Maybe, he needed a distraction?

" It's — "she never could finish her sentence, since her lips were sealed with those of the man causing her corpus to let dozens of fireworks take place.

No, Peter was in need of a solace.
