.You and Haru watched as the man, who proclaimed to you both that he was the newly appointed Chief Inspector, kick two people off of their vehicle, with him only saying that it was bought by the MPD and leaving it as just that. "Well, ain't this interesting," you muttered, your index finger and your thumb supporting your chin as your eyes never left the scene, too amused to even do so. Even more fascinated when you heard him use the language of that Oil Prince.
"Hey, hold on!" Haru dragged you and you just stumbled for a bit before catching on to his pace. He jumped on the vehicle before pulling you unto his lap subsequently, hands wrapped around your waist as he checked on you for a bit to see if you had any injuries due to him pulling you around like that. "Isn't that dangerous.. you scoundrel!" An old man commented before the car finally took off at full speed. "We're just practicing parkour, pops!" You shouted, hoping that your words would reach the grandpa, and it did, so you just leaned back comfortably, as if you weren't sitting on top of your co-worker slash friend.
"Hey, are you going after the criminals?!" Hato asked, well, more like yelled at the current driver of the car. "I think the answer to that's pretty obvious," you answered in Kambe's stead, deadpanning at your colleague's quite idiotic question. Kambe ignored Hato, just like you espected, and instead of voicing out the answer that Kato needed, he just went, "HEUSC, give me the location of the target."
"It's moving from Shimbashi of Minato Ward toward Shinigawa," answered the one whom you guessed was the one he was currently talking to. Well, it was good to know that he wasn't just some kind of lunatic who just converses with the air. "Guide it to Kachidoki Bridge and remove all police patrol cars," Kambe commanded. "What are you saying? What does that mean?" And you just wanted to slap the back of your friend's head. He was just asking questions that are already answered by the call Kambe just made awhile ago. Or, was it just because you were so stupidly intelligent and you just concluded things much better than this male behind you?
This man who was next to you both, it was obvious that he was wealthy. But to what extent? He was able to give that prince a billion yen without thinking of cost, and now he was giving all those orders that were just impossible to be followed unless he was a man who was just 'that' powerful. And the part when he said to block off all police cars, that must've been because he thought of all those cops, other than him of course, as nothing but nuisance. Brows furrowed as you went deep in thought, only stopping when Kambe placed a hand on his ear and spoke once again. "HEUSC, check up on all people, vehicles, and buildings affected by this. Then, prepare an amount of money twice the compensation."
Yes, this was all the confirmation that you needed. This was just no normal Chief Inspector.. he was a rich Chief Inspector! That's the reason why he acted so carelessly and didn't even care if he caused damage to some properties because just like what he said, he can just pay it off within just a snap of his finger. Though, even with all of that figured out, you just can't help yourself from wondering if he is that much of a bigshot, why was he in your division? It's not like you're belittling the MCPTF or something, but he could've been in the First Investigation Division.
"Who exactly are you talking to?" And it seemed like Haru was fed up with Kambe not noticing his confusion in this whole situation. "From my guess, since he seemed to be really well-off, maybe that'd his informant or butler?" Daisuke's cool facade seemed to wear off for a bit, showing his surprise at your spot-on answer, before his eyes returned to their original size. "Yes, she is correct. It's my butler." Daisuke finally spieled.
"Ten minutes left?" And you saw from Haru's watch that it was already 11:50. Only a few more minutes left 'til the bomb explodes.

The speed of the car never slowed down, instead, it looked like it quickened even more. "The target is approaching Kachidoki Bridge," and the data reached you all. Sneeking a glance at Kato's watch once more, you gritted your teeth when you realized that it was now 11:56. Only four minutes remained..
