How did the sky look?
Could you even describe it?
Was it blue with clouds?
Or were you too obsessed with
how people would look at us?
Children of the Sky
Hues play hide n seek in the clouds
Over the dying world, they dance
With little care for what goes on down there
Dance and play, dance and play
In the morning and through the night
Dance and play, dance and play
Tomorrow the colors may be different
Hushed from vibrant pinks to calming blues, but still
Effervescent up here with the sun and the moon
Smooth colors stretch across the globe while the
Kids rest from all the excitement, their
Yawns blow the clouds, sleepy but eager to start again
Laughing with the soaring birds they play
Over the dying world, they dance
One day they may grow tired of this cycle, but
Kids can rarely stop when they're having so much fun
