Under Tables
White noise fills my ears
blurring the world around me
eyes shut tight to ignore
the person, their steps,
their gun
Maybe I could help
someone out there like me
but now that I'm safe
my body is frozenAlternatives
Fury courses through these veins
In my heart and through my arms
Gang up on me, it doesn't matter
Hit me to the ground, I'll still stand
This won't end without bloodOther worlds may have it different
Realities where I can't take the punchesFear courses through those veins
Lukewarm and running cold
In their mind and straight to their soul
Gang up on them, they'll run
Hide and cower in a corner
This'll end quickly, without blood
