I still can't get over the fact that Clayton Jones caught me when I fell and he carried me bridal style. It's like those Rom Cons where the guy catches the girl and time just stops and some song just starts playing in the background while they looked into each others' eyes and just stood there like an idiot for about 5 minutes. Yeah, that's what it felt like that yesterday. It felt out of this world, surreal.
I walked to school today like usual and headed to my locker. When I opened it, a little note slipped out of my locker. Hey there, I can't go to the study-date today cuz I got a date with Stefani, see you tmr, xoxo Clayton Jones.
After I read the 'xoxo' part, I cringed a little, like I want to puke. Did he seriously wrote 'xoxo' in a note to me? I swear, sometimes I wonder what was wrong with that guy, sometimes he makes me think that he's gay and sometimes he could be a straight asshole jock, just, I don't know. That's why I assume he's bi,
But as I was taking out the books that I needed for today, I remembered something. Aunt Susan will be out of town until next week. So the cafe won't be open this week, because whenever Aunt Susan is out of town or on a trip, she never opens the cafe, even though we could help serve customers like we usually do but nope. She wouldn't let us. I had to tell Clayton that we couldn't do the study-date this week.
I took out my phone from my pocket and texted Clayton,
Josh: Hey, meet me after Calculus class,

I kept my phone in my pocket and went to find Nathan, Maddison and Marla. Which were hanging out at the school cafeteria because Nathan decided to have his breakfast at school this morning, which by the way is the worst choice ever? Like the breakfast meals at our school's cafeteria is disgusting, taste like barf.
When the bell rang, I got up from my seat and headed to the Calculus class. When I got to class, I saw that Stefani's seat was empty. Weird, they're usually inseparable, she's probably at the toilets. Yeah, don't think too much about it Josh, wait, why were you even thinking about it? Ugh,
Stefani came walking back into the class and sat next to Nathan like she normally does, and then Mrs. Perry walked in and began her lesson.
After class, I went over to Clayton's table, thank god that Stefani left, if not I will have to deal with her jealous and ugly ass,
"So why did you wanna meet me Joshie?"
"Well, actually, I want to tell you that we can't do the study date this week cause the cafe is not open this week, so I'll see you next week. Is that alright?"
