Episode 16: To trust or not to trust

What happened last time:
- Cleo got confused
-Emma got angry
-Rikki got hungry

ΞΞΞΞΞΞΞΞΞΞΞΞΞΞΞΞΞΞΞΞΞΞΞΞΞΞΞΞΞΞΞΞΞΞΞΞΞΞΞΞΞΞΞΞΞ

As Rikki,Emma and Cleo rest, Gabbi was just sharpening the edges around her instructions to Bella.

"Not until you are alone and back on the Gold Coast-and not in front of anyone else either, understand?"

"I understand."

"Good, ok it's time to go back."

ΨΨΨ

The trio awoke to the sound of Gabbi chanting and humming.

"What are you doing?" Rikki asked.

"Did I forget to tell? We're going home today."

Emma had excitement in her eyes, Cleo gasped in joy and Rikki grinned so much her face hurt.

"Okay, one by one lets go."

ΨΨΨ

"My room," Emma sadly whispered as they appeared back to the burnt remains of her room.

"What day is it?" Cleo asked.

"How should we know we've been kept in a white prison with a demonic pixie," Rikki said back.

"December 10th" Gabbi said.

"We've been gone for a whole week, they'll think we are missing!" Cleo exclaimed in worry.

"No they'll think your dead." Gabbi said mono toned.

"What are we supposed to say, we can't exactly expose magic," Cleo said.

"You lie," Gabbi responded, "Lying always works."

ΨΨΨ-Cleo

Cleo walked down the busy streets of the Gold Coast feeling self conscious about her hair, smell and clothes.

A whole week she was gone, and she had no idea how to make a that big of a lie to cover up.

"Wait look," Rikki said looking at a flyer.

"What is it?" Emma asked.

"Is an ad for a Christmas party-in honour of us."

"What?"

"Yeah it says right here in honour of Cleo Sertori, Emma Gilbert, Rikki Chadwick and Isabella Hartley, sorry Gabbi you weren't invited."

"Thanks Rikki," Gabbi said sarcastically.

"When is it?" Cleo asked.

"Tonight."

"Let's go then," Cleo said.

"Why would we do that?" Emma asked.

"Make it seem like a Christmas miracle, and just say we don't won't to talk about what happened this last week."

"Sneaky," Bella said.

"You would know," Emma said under her breath.

"Could work," Rikki said.

"No it won't, they'll ask questions-so will the police." Gabbi said.

"And what's your great suggestion?" Emma asked Gabbi.

"Magic, it solves lots of problems behind the scenes."

"What do you mean behind the scenes?" Cleo asked.

"Cleo if we are to work together you must trust me."

"Since when are we working together?" Rikki interjected.

"Since I need to keep magic a secret and your my loose ends, so go to Christmas party, but I'll be there to do my part."

"Helping others Gabbi, we've heard that one before."

"This time it's to help myself not you."

"And that's what your all about aren't you?" Rikki said.

"Precisely."
