Episode 19: Storytelling

What happened last time:
- Gabbi makes a bold move against the Mermaid Kingdom
- The girls avoid questions being asked about their whereabouts
- The girls get their powers back

Now listen up kiddies! It's Gabbi here, it's time that the real story was told, you may shed a few tears . The story told with no changes or pieces left out, time to hear about the story that makes a big shout!

There were once two little girls, named Gabbi and Marie. They were best friends when they were little, they lived in a beautiful beach side home connecting to the ocean where their handsome merman father Pierce could swim, and lots of room for their beautiful pixie mother Vena could flutter.

Now Gabbi a beautiful little girl with golden curls and eyes that were as grey as the clouds in the sky, was a pixie, descending from the sky like her mother.

Where as Marie a gorgeous young girl with brown wavy hair and eyes as green as the sea, was a mermaid, descending from the ocean like her father.

Pierce and Vena where happy together for years and years, until the law in the underwater Kingdom changed. Pierce was forced to leave Vena and Gabbi returning to the sea, bringing Marie with him.

For years he tried to change the law and go back to his family, but he could not. Eventually his efforts were no longer taken lightly and he was shunned. Forced to leave the coast of Australia, and never return.

Marie, grew up in the court. Learning the way of the law, being forced into working for the Mermaid ruler at that time. When she finally reached the age of 16, she ran for the position of queen. By one vote, she lost. But as the next election came around she was voted in and has ruled ever since. Since Marie was raised in a court where mermaids opposed pixies she eventually let go of the memories of her sister and her mother.

Each morning her mother would brush her hair, clean her tail and help her develop her powers. Marie still chose to throw all that away, for royalty.

Gabbi on the other hand. Gabbi grew up without a father, she stuck with her mother and did all she said, longing for the day she would see her sister and father again. When one day she was searching by the ocean for a sign of her father she came across secret power she didn't know she had. When she touched water, a tail appeared, identical to her fathers.

The day she told her mother she discovered that to gain full control of her magical potential as a mermaid/pixie hybrid she would have to sacrifice the power of a full fledged merperson.

Since that day Gabbi grew up resenting her father and sister, never coming back or sending a sign, so she decided that she would sacrifice their power.

Shortly after Gabbi had become a full pixie and completed her task as a novice pixie, she tested out her secret power and saw how far she could go. She swam and swam eventually finding a royal palace, surrounded by merpeople.

She entered and wandered in no one knowing who she is, thinking she was a regular mermaid. She eventually bestowed upon a beautiful queen. She had brown wavy hair and eyes as green as the ocean around them-it was her sister.

Gabbi shocked at the sight of her sister let out a cry, which was heard by her sister.

Marie turned around and recognised the blondes curls and grey eyes of her sister. Quicker than a shark Marie had guards on Gabbi and had her taken away from the kingdom.

Gabbi swore to herself that day that no matter what it takes, no matter the sacrifice she would destroy her sister.

Not long after Gabbi made her oath, Marie made her own. She swore that no pixie will ever come into her Kingdom and the next time she sees her sister, she would take her down.

Gabbi returned to her mothers home and told her the news of Marie. Fuelled with anger, Vena flew right to the oceans shore, then jumped in and started to swim. A normal pixie not having the power to complete this act,
Vena started to go unconscious, Gabbi quickly grabbed her and swam with all her speed to the nearest place with dry land.

Gabbi stumbled upon a cave. It was built high and had a hole at the top where the light of the full moon could shine through. On the sandy bank next to the pool Gabbi layer her mother. While waiting for her mother to dry, Gabbi stayed in the pool. Suddenly it started to bubble. Gabbi looked up and saw the full moon shining down upon her, and she heard a voice in her head.

"This is the birthplace of the mermaids power, thus meaning it also as the power to destroy it."

Gabbi knew what this meant and how it applies to her. This was the place she would sacrifice her sisters power, this was the place she would avenge her families name.
