Throughout the young justice and justice league Crimson Shadow was known for her determination, strength, wisdom, skills, and batitude. Batitude meaning that she was intimidating, terrifying, and emotionally cold to most people. However everyone was shipping Crimson Hood, but soon everyone's thoughts about Crimson Shadow changed.

Raeesa's pov
Time: 20:00 military time aka 8 pm
Location: Civic City

Usually the team didn't work on kidnaped persons cases, however she was the daughter of a scientist who helped the league periodically. Nightwing was about to do the debriefing. "Alright team here is the now information about the of William Kraulet." "What's with scientist having unpronounceable last names?" Jaime asked. "Honestly though?" Beast Boy interjected. "Can we take this seriously?" Nightwing asked. "I am sorry Nightwing, but it is really hard to take you seriously when you have lime green hair." Beast Boy said as he started laughing. "Nightwing over here looking like a cabbage patch kid." Jaime laughed out. I started chuckling with Jaime, Garfield, and La'gaan. "Alright can we get going with this mission....Please." Nightwing pleaded. We silenced ourselves. Her name is Thea Kraulet. She is eight years old and has brown hair, green eyes. Our mission is to bring her home safe. She is also mute." Nightwing concluded. The team who was going to rescuing Thea was made up of myself, Miss Martian, Lagoon Boy, Beast Boy, blue beetle, and Nightwing. We went into the bioship chuckling to ourselves and started to fly to her location. I started to sharpen my swords. "Alright team, since Crimson Shadow is a specialist in stealth. She will rescue Thea, while we create a distraction for her to get out." Nightwing stated. "Yeah because she is sooo good." Lagoon boy muttered under his breath. I glared at him while I sharpened my blade. "And I suppose you would be a better option." I said with a smirk. "Ugh duh. Who has more experience." La'gaan growls. "I have been doing work involving the hero and villain business before you were born Sherlock." I snap quickly, but I wasn't done speaking. Now I lower my voice to keep them attentive and on their heals. "And I will have you know I have known your friends long before you did." The expressions of the whole team changed. "You have known us before?" Meghan asked. I suck in a deep breath and sheath my swords. I stand up since we were nearing my drop off location. "Yes I have met the Young Justice before however it was just the six of you and Nightwing was a little Robin." I saw with a smirk then I felt Meghan pushing threw my head. "Miss Martian if you would kindly get out of my head that would be much appreciated. I would prefer NOT to remember somethings." I calmly. She lowered her head ashamed. "I do believe this is my stop. A line will not be necessary again." I saw as I prepare to jump. "Wait we are over a 1,250ft up in the air." Blue Beetle says with concern. "How do you think Hood and I rescued you last time." I say emotionless. Then the bioship opened and flipped backwards out of the ship. This time the rescue spot was surrounded by sewers and a lake. I reached for my breathing and shoved it into my mouth as I pushed my feet forward. Soon the water hit my skin. Thankfully I have a water repellent and water proof suit. Otherwise I would be very cold. I swim to the sewer entrance and grabbed my hand chainsaw from a hidden compartment in my suit. I sawed off the bars of the sewer entrance and started to swim up it. Now the mental link was up. " Crimson Shadow are you there?" Miss Martian asked. "Yes Miss Martian, I have infiltrated the base. Nightwing send me the blueprints of the bass." I asked. "Already done." Nightwing replied. I looked down at my water proof wrist computer. The benefit of being part of the league of shadows. I looked at the blue prints and started moving in the direction of where we believed they were keeping her. Luckily there was an industrial sized drain in her room. I smirked what were the odds. "Crimson so far so good. we aren't seeing any signs of distress in the base." Nightwing said. I smirked. "That's is because they don't know I am here. I am nearing her room now." I replied as I pulled myself up into the drain. I started to climb up it. I looked up into the room from the large drain. I smirked two camera, no windows, a windowless door, two guards. I lowered myself back down into the drain just below their view point. I hacked the cameras from my wrist computer and put the two cameras on a loop. I smirked as I climbed back up the drain. I pulled out two blow darts and my collapsable dart luncher. I quickly shot the first guard and then the next. "I am in the room. No issues." I said. I lifted the drain lid and climbed out. I turned my head to see the mute girl shivering in the corner. I silently walked up to her and lowered to my knees to sign to her. "Hello my name is Crimson Shadow. I am here to get you back to your family." I signed to her. Her face light up and she lunched herself into me. She wrapped her arms around me and I repeated the gesture. I let her go to sign. "These are mega magnetic brackets. I have magnets on the back of my suit to help you hold on. Is it okay if I put them on you?" I sign. She nods her head. I clip them onto her wrist and she laches onto me. "Thea is secured onto me. Ready for the distraction." I said into the mind link. "Alright team lets create mayhem." Nightwing says. Then I hear an explosion in the distance. I put back on the drain and then walk to the wall opposite of the door. "Brace yourself little one." I whisper into the girls ear as I start to run gathering speed. I kick down the door and race down the hall. I look up to see a large air duct. I launch my grappling hook and climb into the air duct. We make our way through the air ducts when I hear the fighting below. However there is a fan blocking the way to the camouflage Bioship. I quickly threw a Shuriken between the blades of the fan and climb between them. Now we were out of that building and on the invisible ship. "Miss Martian can you open the hatch to the Bioship. I have Thea at the ship." I asked. "The hatch is open." Miss Martian replied. I climbed into the Bioship and deactivated her magnetic bracelets. I caught her as she fell. Then I sat her down into a seat. "Are you alright?" I signed to her. "I am now. Thank you." Thea signed back. Then the mind link went hey wire. "Beast Boy is captured and La'gaan is unconscious. They have set a bomb to go off in two minutes. Nightwing and blue beetle are injured. We need help." Miss Martian shouted. "I am on my way. Get who you can onto the Bioship and get as far away from the explosion as you can. I will get Beast Boy." I said mentally as I signed to Thea that I needed to go and that I promise I will be back. I ran out of the ship and into the base to get rescues Beast Boy. I saw that Miss Martian was about to be shot. So I covered her. I got shot in the thigh, but I didn't pay any attention to it. "Go I shall rescue Beast Boy." I ran at the people who holding Beast Boy hostage and kicked the guy to right in the chest. While I sliced the guy to the left on the thigh causes him to collapse. Then someone started firing at me. I blocked each attack with my swords. I sheathed one of my swords and put the magnetic brackets on Beast Boy. I latched him to my back and started to run. "Miss Martian race past the entrance of the base in the ship. I will launch a harmless grappling rope onto the ship." I said into the mind link. "Are you sure?" Nightwing asked. "Just do it. I have done this before." I shouted as I heard the ticking of the bomb get louder and heard the roar of the ship get closer. I just made it out as I launched the grappling hook when the ship zoomed by and snatched us as the bomb went off. "CRIMSON!" Nightwing screamed. "Jesus Christ Wing. Have faith in me." I replied. "Crimson you made it." Nightwing said as he looked down at Garfield and I hanging on the rope. "Yup. I have done this before. It is called a quick extraction." I replied. "Is Beast Boy okay?" Meghan asked. "Yes Meghan your brother is safe." I said as I climbed up the rope. Soon we made it into the Bioship and Thea raced up to me. "You came back." Thea said happily. "I keep my promises." I signed back. The team seemed shocked. "I didn't know you could sign." Dick said. "Yes I can do sign langue for every langue I know. I was required to learn it." I said. Now I felt a quivery stomach. I walked over to my chair with Thea trailing me. "Um kid I wouldn't follow her." La'gaan said. I glared at him. "Thea you might want to turn around and cover your ears for a second, okay?" I signed calmly. Thea nodded her head and turned around. I pulled out a collapsible shuriken opened it. "Ugh Crimson what are you doing? Nightwing asked. I feel around my leg with my hand. I then felt where the bullet was. Luckily it just seemed to be a flesh womb. "Um?" Jaime said. Then I quickly moved the shuriken into my leg to use its curved blades to scoop out the bullet. "OH OH SHADOW WHAT ARE YOU DOING!" Nightwing yelled and rushed forward. I saw the bullet coming out and moved my hand to pick it up. I held the cylinder in my hand as my suit and skin quickly repaired itself. "Oh" Nightwing said calmer. I stood up. "This bullet is laced with a deadly nerve toxin. The nerve toxin is strong enough to kill bane. It's a good thing I covered you, Meghan otherwise you wouldn't have survived." I stated as I handed the bloodied bullet to Nightwing. "How are you still alive?" Jaime inquired. "Experience." I stated flatly as I sat down Thea ran up to me and tired to get up  onto my lap. I smiled at her. Then little Thea yawned. "Are you tired little one?" I signed. She nodded her head. "Yes, but I can't go to sleep without a song." Thea signed with hopefully eyes. Then it clicked at me. She wants to hear the one thing she didn't have the courage to do. So that maybe one day she could. "Would you like me to sing?" I asked verbally. Thea quickly nodded her head. La'gaan snorted and rolled his eyes. He still doubted me. I picked up with Thea and sat her comfortably onto my lap. She snuggled into my chest and looked up at me. When I started to softly sing the only lullaby I knew. Start song.

I hugged Thea the way I would hug Damian. I hugged her just enough to give her a sense of love, care, protection, and safety. Are you, are you coming to the tree. She does have emotions." La'gaan sneered. "Yes unlike you it seems I have more than two emotions." I fired back. Then Beast Boy shot up. "Facts." He said with emphasis. I smirked and playfully rolled my eyes. I didn't know what was to come, but I was glad that I had my new family on my side.
