Since Pietro promised to rescue my dad, I felt a lot better. Even if we couldn't rescue him that day, I knew he was alive. And that was enough for me.

Landing down in the mountain, we stepped out of the jet and waited for Tony to conceal the aircraft.

"Shoodlepoppers! It's cold," JJ said, her teeth chattering slightly. The mean, lean, metal arm, machine swept her up in a hug from the bag and kissed the top of her head.

"You'll get used to it," he teased. It wasn't even shivering and he had less clothes than both JJ and I.

"Sure, sure, he says," I said sarcastically. Okay, I was a little bit of a hypocrite. I wasn't really that cold. The fur or at least my mind kept me warm.

"Right. The lab is Northeast of our location, 1.2 miles away. It's a big base," Natasha briefed.

"Okay so we have to do some walking. Let's go!" I scurried off before being brought back by a strong arm. Natasha shook me a little like a scolded cat and smirked.

"Hold on, kitty. Wait a minute for the others. We can't go charging in blindly. Tony has the map." She had Wanda set up a mind link to us and JJ and I sweat dropped.

"I feel naked," I complained. Pietro smirked and slung an arm a round me. I wouldn't mind that," he whispered. To my embarrassment, I thought about it for one second and th-

"Keep it in your pants, will ya'?" Tony growled and flew down from the Quinjet.

I went red and kept my head down while Pietro muttered, "It's not like you keep it in your pants."

What was that, boy?

Fight me, old man.

I thought that was my nickname.

You want to be called Old Man?

No, I'm good.

Everyone kept arguing internally and I sighed. "By Bozo's beard, can we go now?" I wanted to go see my father.

"Ah, sorry, Alice," Steve said, clearing his throat. "Let's go rescue, Alice's father."

"I forgot you could fly," Pietro panted slightly, not used to the altitude. I giggled slightly and patted his cheek.

"I noticed when your eyes got big," I laughed. JJ was laughing too, though she was panting.

"I forgot too, actually," she admitted, puffing a breath of white clouds into the air. It was snowing now, little white flakes falling on our hair.

"Can't we just teleport in?" I asked, bored. Tony thought about it for a minute.

"Weeeell, we could, buuut."

"Buuuuut what?"

"They might be expecting that," he said.

"How would you guess that?"

"Maybe from those HYDRA planes flying towards us with guns?"

"Than I guess that means the plan went down the drain."

I touched everyone on the shoulder and they disappeared in a blue POOF! I disappeared myself and left the HYDRA goons to try and find us now.

"My aching as-"

"Don't finish that sentence, Stark."

"Holy of mother of pearl!"

I looked around at the laboratory I transported us into. No guards. "Doesn't that strike anyone odd? There's no guards," I noted.

"I don't like this," Natasha said, cocking her gun. "It's too quiet."

"There's someone coming," I said, my cat ears twitching. They pointed to my right and we looked, waiting for the intruder.

Actually that's wrong. We're the intruders. Who cares?

But it wasn't a HYDRA staff.

"Dad!" I shrieked and flew straight at him. "Holyteabagswithchocolatechipcookiesandcheeseandsprinkles! It's you!" My dad laughed and hugged me bag.

"I had a feeling you would be here," he whispered, crying in relief.

"Alex Wonder?"

"That's me," he said, turning to Steve. "We're here to get you out," he said.

Alex sighed. "That would be wonderful, but I had a chip implanted in my collar. If I go outside the vicinity, I explode," he winced. "And I really don't want my insides to decorate the snow."

We thought for a minute. "Where are all the guards?" Natasha asked, still wary.

"Outside and in the main room. One of the idiots forgot to lock my cell," he snorted. "You gave them quite a fright, bringing in your team like that."

"Speaking of team, who can remove the chip before Strucker knows he's missing?" JJ asked.

"I can try," Loki said, shrugging. "It might hurt though. Where is the tracker?"

"I don't care. I've been through worse. My neck," Alex said quickly, pointing to the swollen spot. "We should hurry though."

Loki strode forward and summoned a strange . "Erg, what are you doing with that?" I asked, hesitant.

"I'll tell you later."

He swung the sword at Alex's neck and everyone gave a shout.

But the sword went through through his neck and out came a small metal piece. It was smoking and cut in half. "What the frick was that?" He asked incredulously.

Loki smirked and made the sword disappear. "A sword that destroys all man made objects. Technology is part of the design.

Alex rubbed his neck in wonder. "Wow. I feel so much better."

While I was so happy, I was also a little anxious. "Great, now we gots to gos now," I said. Yes I said it exactly how the author is typing. I tapped everyone on the shoulder to the ship. Strucker came in and growled as he saw his intruders leaving without a fight. When it was just me, I grinned my sharp teeth at him.

And flipped him off.

Then I followed my team mates to the ship and to home. That had to be the easiest mission ever.

"I can't believe it's you!" I sobbed.

I was clinging to him. He was my guardian and my only living family. "I missed you," I whimpered.

The Avengers had left, granting privacy for me to catch up with him. Alex ruffled my blue purple hair and frowned at the teal eyes.

"I missed you too, pigeon brain. Now, want to tell me why your hair is blue purple, your eyes teal, and why you can teleport us to where ever?"

I chuckled weakly. "Did I forget to mention that I have a boyfriend too?"

"WHAT!?"
