he came home quiet. he didn't announce his presence like normal. he was quiet and just wasn't.... kakashi. he walked into the room and you had just had a shower and only put on one of his shirts and underwear,
"kakashi? you're home- what's wrong?!" you rushed up to him and cupped his masked cheek. he took your hand off and brushed past you to go to the bathroom. you pulled on his arm, pulling him to a complete stop.
"if you don't want to talk about it, i won't force you to. but please kakashi.. don't ignore me." you said and he turned back to you, lifting your legs to wrap around his waist. he sat down on the bed, resting his face in your neck
"i couldn't save them." he mumbled into your neck. you pulled away from him to pull his jonin clothes off.
he was on a mission for the past few days and you assumed it went south. your hands pulled his face up to yours to place a kiss on his nose.
"it's okay kakashi. i know you did the best you could." you told him in a whisper. he pulled off his mask and muscle tee before pulling your waist against his body tightly.
"kami, I love you." he buried his head in the crook of your neck again and kissed it softly. you giggled before kissing his temple softly.
