(Y/n)'s POV

Weeks has passed, Makomo's 12th birthday has passed, and now...

"Good luck on your Final Selection okay?! REMEMBER TO STAY ALIVE OR I WON'T COOK FOR ANY OF YOU GUYS!!!" I happily screamed as the trip went on to their path of becoming a Demon Slayer.

"Hai!" Makomo exclaimed.

"All of you need to take care of yourselves okay? Watch each other's back! Your a family so do your parts!" I told them, pointing a finger to every one of them.

"Yes, (Y/n)..." Giyu softly grumbled. "We're gonna come back, and I'll eat your Simmered Salmon. can't live without it..." He whispered the last part which I didn't heard.

I gave him a big goofy smile. "You sure will have your salmon when you get back, ravenettor!!" I said, determined as I gave him a thumbs up.

"Now go! The Final Selection ain't gonna finish itself! I have my own things to do too you know!!" I chuckled as my hands landed on my hips. Everyone chuckled.

I then felt warm hands wrapped around my body. "I'll miss you, (Y/n)." Sabito muttered. I let out a breath and patted his back.

"It's only 7 Days, I'm sure you all would live without me." I said, parting the hug. I gave the trio each a bag I have been holding the entire time.

"Here ya go! The bag contains a full 3 course, breakfast, lunch and dinner! Even dessert! Make sure to eat all of it!" I exclaimed giving them the bags.

A plain lavender for Sabito. A black magenta for Giyu. A pink sakura patterned for Makomo.

They all gave out their last thanks and a goodbye hug. Even that old man join in.

"Be safe..." I muttered as I let my arm fall to my side.

I watched them walking to the distance Urokodaki-sama beside me. When they we're out of our sight, I looked at the way with a sad expression as the old man started walking away.

"Hey..." I called out. He stopped knowing I'm calling out to him. "Do you think they'll come back?..." I sadly asked.

I knew about Urokodaki-sama's past, he had a lot of children whom never came back from the Final Selection. It was hard for him to get through their deaths but he accepted it. Knowingly that they died with a great amount of knowledge.

"They're special. Don't look dow-"

"I'm not, just... Worried.." I muttered. I let out a sigh, gripping onto my Nichirin.

"I'll be training now, old man. I'll be back before dawn. Take care," I said as I walked into the forest. He hummed in response.

Training. I have been training here for a whole month. Usually that old man would train me telling the task of what I needed to do and to my surprise, within a week, I managed to control my Breath of Fire Dragon. It was odd how he managed to teach me Fire even though he uses Water Breath.

I asked him about it. "All thanks to your ancestors." Is all he'd ever answer. I was damn pissed that time. I annoyed him all day and I didn't crack a single cracking crack on his head.

But then, slowly I noticed he had been reading a book and as I concentrated even more I noticed it was titled with the same words on my sword.

Then, I learned that it was a book made by the first Ryūsei and the next till the next. It contained all the Breath's of all the elements, plus Dragon breath.
