(A/n: a lot of POV change in this. And of course some swearing here and there. It's (Y/n) and Axel. They both have that 48% of Bakugo in them.)

(Y/n)'s POV

I turned to the demon whose head has been cut off. I looked over to see the kids suffocating.
.
It seems the Demon's art is disappearing...

I quickly swam to the siblings and made it to land. The both of them coughed and inhaled as we stood out of the water.

I panted a bit and placed my swords back to its scabbards. Suddenly I was tackled into a hug. The little girl was sobbing and bawling her eyes out as the boy cried out a thousand thanks.

I patted their heads making them look at me. I gave them a soft smile. "Let's take you home, alright?" I ask in a soft tone.

After what happened to these children... They must be very traumatized. Luckily they have each other. They both nodded. I crouched down to their level.

"Now now," I said as I wiped away their tears. "Don't cry, the demon is gone now. And if there is, me and my partner will protect you alright?" I said in a soft tone.

I looked behind the children and smiled. "Come out, bud. I need to introduce you to someone." I said.

Axel ran out of the woods and appeared in front of me. "W-Woahhh...." Anika said, mesmerized.

"C-Can we touch it?" Asahi asked.

I nodded. "Axel's a he. Not it, Asahi.." I said. He's eyes widened as her little sister started petting Axel.

"How did you..."

"Your parents are very worried about you two. Let me take you home alright?" I stood up while extending a hand to the little boy. He nodded and took my hand.

Anika was riding onto my wolf whom changed himself into wolf size.

When we arrived, I made sure to give them some wisteria flowers. Told them to always carry it around during the night when demons lurk. They had invited me to eat supper since the fight with the demon earlier actually caused longer than I expected. After supper, all of us exchanged goodbyes.

"Please make sure not to get into these shenanigans again alright, you two kiddos?" I joked as I ruffled the both of the children heads. They laughed.

"Of course, Ryūsei-sama!" They both chimed. I smiled. The image of such pure innocent children smiling like there's no tomorrow.

"When I grow up, I want to be just like Ryūsei-sama! A hero!" Asahi exclaimed happily. I giggled at his familiar motivation.

"I'll be wishing you luck then." I said.

My bluebird suddenly appeared in front of me. "Chu- Chu! You did it, (Y/n)-san! You did it!" She chirpped. "Oyakata-sama is raising your rank! Your now a Kanoto Rank! The 8th rank! Oyakata-sama also says to keep up the good work!"

I blushed at those words. I felt my wolf nudging me as he gave me a smile. I smiled.

Maybe being a Demon Slayer ain't that bad after all....

"Chu! Chu! New mission!!" My head perked up.

"Ah that soon? Alright then," I turned to the Hikori family. I bowed down.

"It was an honour to meet such a sweet family," I complimented.

"No no no! Please don't bow!" The mother of the family said frantically.

I stood up straight, with a smile upon my face. "Until we meet again, Hikori!" I exclaimed and walked away into the abyss.
