*TRIGGER WARNING*

James:

I ran after Ava down the staircase but she was way too quick,

"Ava!"

I try to catch my breath when I hear Jackie yelling after me, "James! You can't go running around the hospital! What's going on?!"

"Its Ava!" I exclaim, "Emily fucking forced herself on me and Ava walked in" I squeeze my nose bridge in frustration and Jackie sighs and rubs my shoulder trying to calm me down.

"James, one you're a fucking idiot for even letting that snake Emily get close to you after everything she's done to you, and two you need to go after Ava. She's already been through so much in such a short amount of time, she needs you."

I suddenly got this gut feeling that something was wrong and I looked at Jackie and she gave me a knowing look.

"I know, go. I will take care of getting your shift covered, go"

I hug her and thank her as I go grab my stuff and keys to get to Ava a quickly as possible with a lump forming in my throat,

Something does not feel right.

Ava:

Here I was.

Bleeding again.

Hurting again.

Still living in the filth that is my life.

He promised to always be there and protect me, yet I find him with her.

He saved me yet so easily he was able to let go and throw me to the pit of sorrow.

The pain within my heart was completely numb now, for the heart he held was completely shattered. He managed to destroy and strip the last bit of hope I held to continue living in this painful world.

The cold razor felt so cold in my hand it helped create the cuts that decorated my wrist all the way up to my forearm. Though it felt painful it also felt...good. I wanted to feel it again I wanted to feel in control of the pain the shiny razor gave me as it slid through my skin and blood trickled down.

"Just one more cut"

I put the razor up to my already scarred wrist, I take a breath in and I push it down hard.

Blood, so much blood.

I didn't realize how deep I cut until I see the amount of blood dripping down like a sea of red.

Good, I thought.

I laid down on the tiled floor and took a slow agonizing breath, ready to face the fate I knew awaited me. I soon wouldn't feel the agonizing torture my mind put me through, I soon wouldn't feel the painful memories, I soon wouldn't feel the electricity his touch sent through my body, I soon wouldn't feel the painful cuts he added to my heart along with many other people in my life.

I was ready.

As soon as my eyes felt heavy and my breathing felt labored. I heard the banging of the door and the turning of the locked knob.

"Ava! Let me in!"

Pain.

"Ava! I can explain! Please open this door!"

Tired.

"AVA! Step back I'm kicking this door down!"

The door shot open with a huge thud.

I saw his tall figure run towards me.

"AVA! OH MY GOD!"

Regret.
