Daily Poem Challenge
Day 9
April 28, 2020
Theme: Faith
Propounded by: Hanna Joy
Doubt
Poisons are flowing into my bloodstream,
Numbing my body from the nonstop pain,
Intoxicating my thinking again,
Altering the process of my system,
And pushing me further into that maze.
I live each day questioning my belief.
Confusion is not giving me relief.
For the more I attempt to clear the haze,
Is the more I am becoming doubtful.
I ask God why am I failing like this,
But to see my mistakes is what I miss.
Undeniably, I am too sinful.
My dubious mind is pushing me to grieve,
And it's in my hands to choose to believe.
