College
The air is becoming thinner and thinner,
As I climb forward to reach my purpose.
With feet growing feeble, I need repose,
From this journey that feels like forever.
I was a scaredy-cat when I started,
Now I laughed out all my troubles in life,
As my eyes are all dejected with strife.
To finish this race is all I wanted,
To finally breath normal air again,
To finally be freed from these shackles,
To make a thousand genuine chuckles,
And to finally be able to gain,
The fruits of my labour, the priceless gift,
And to be able to escape this rift.
