Daily Poem Challenge
Day 29

Theme: My Senior High School Experience
Propounded by: Rhollyn Kate
Memories
An oblivious bridge I'm afraid to pass,
Catastrophic season I fear to fuss.
New faces, new paces and a new race.
I thought I won't win this without an ace.
I learned, I fought, I won and stood with them,
We struggled, we survived the storms that came.
Amidst the battle we cried and we smiled,
We lived in this moment we are riled.
But two years were seemingly not enough,
To part ways with them is simply just tough.
I will live my morrows with my dear friends,
I will live them till my memory ends.
And I sit here reminiscing the past,
As these golden times just won't seem to last.
In my head, they flash like a utopia,
Scent of longing, this wistful nostalgia.
