Theme: Reincarnation

Again
I live again. Breathing the same air,
As it was a hundred years ago. Fair—
Fate is fair. But I don't want to live twice,
Knowing that the pain would ask for a price.
I was shattered to thousands of pieces,
There wasn't an episode he misses.
He watches me till I met my demise.
Cruel. I was rolling like a thrown dice.
I was fighting a one-sided battle.
Alone, in the chasm of the mantle,
Where hell is nigh. Closer to the hot core.
Yet he stood high and still wanting more,
More of my misery, more for my fears.
In pitch black I see relief with my tears.
He used to be gentle, caring and soft,
But that was before when I was aloft.
Since my wings were torn and I was falling.
My path was askew as I was flying. So I stop myself from reminiscing.
It's time to live the life I was missing.
Now, I will start from choosing the right track.
But I realize there isn't one. Tuck.
I hear the music of the beating drums.
Tuck, tuck. They sound like those obnoxious scums.
