Daily Poem Challenge
Day 11
April 30, 2020
Theme: Vague Love feat COVID-19 happenings
Propounded by: Fred Genesis
Disaster
The world is facing the genesis of the end.
A running silent havoc that kills anyone,
Rich, poor, old or young, you're hapless if you're the one.
If get hit, you're a murderer if you pretend,
Believing that nothing is awry is a ruse,
So better not lie to get wind of this dilemma.
The alibi would not save you from the karma.
In this trying time there's no room for an excuse,
And better say "I love you" before it's too late.
So I will be all yours, nothing more, nothing less.
Let our raging love fill this void of emptiness.
Let our untold affection defy this ill fate.
The question is: would you reciprocate my love?
For you to love me would the best gift from above.
