Daily Poem Challenge
Day 22
May 12, 2020
Theme: Greek Myth
Propounded by: Janus Pete
Demigods
Past that distant future is tomorrow,
A day the gods surrender to their hands,
A day they will be freed from tags and brands.
No more differences, no more sorrow.
This mystical myth is born from the sea,
From the sky, in the mind and from gods' lust,
They are the fruits of that very past,
Where gods breed like incubi or a bee.
Poor demigods charged of perilous tasks,
In order to save the endangered world,
From the danger caused by gods' own accord.
Tales of history are covered with masks,
May be enveloped in obscurity,
But their tales will live for eternity.
