Chapter 17: First Holiday

Summer break time! Seb planned to go on holiday with Jacqie. He hoped that it could make him forget some bad results he had on the first half of the season. Couldn't score any single point on the first race, had an incident with Mark at the Turkish GP, and also got a penalty on the previous race, the Hungarian GP.

He still hadn't told Jacqie where he would bring her and Vania to. On Monday morning, he put all his stuff inside his suitcase. After that, he brought it and went to her room to check whether she was ready to go.

"Morning, Schatz," he greeted her when she opened the door.

"Morning, Seb. Come in!"

"Thanks." Seb walked into her room, right behind her. "Where's Vania?"

"She's in the bathroom. Seb, can you tell me now where we will go to?"

He laughed a little as his girlfriend was so curious. "I will bring you to a special place," he said.

"But where?"

"Be patient. By the way, have you prepared your suitcase?"

She nodded. "Yes, I've prepared it. You make me curious."

Seb just grinned. Jacqie was confused as she didn't know where he would bring her to. That would be a surprise for her. Then, after Vania and herself were ready with their suitcases, they left the room and checked out from the hotel.

They went for half an hour to the airport in Budapest. He bought three flight tickets while Jacqie and Vania sat on the waiting chairs. After that, he walked closer to Jacqie. "I've bought the tickets."

"Thanks, Seb, but... You haven't answered my question."

He gave in. "Okay. I will bring you to Italy."

"Italy?"

"Yes. I will bring you two to a beautiful beach in Sardinia."

Vania looked so excited. "Wow, a beach! I'm glad I brought my camera, so I can take so many pictures there."

"Yes you can take as many photos as possible," he said.

Seb was grateful that Vania wasn't angry at him anymore. She was surely protective over Jacqie, but she wasn't wrong. As a best friend, she definitely felt hurt when her friend was shouted by someone.

He did regret what he'd done to her. He still remembered how her expression was when he shouted at her. At the time, he was frustrated with the penalty he received. But he realized that he shouldn't vent his anger towards people, especially his girlfriend.

Then, he asked Jacqie, "So Jacqie, do you mind if I bring you there?"

"Of course no. Thanks for bringing us there."

"With pleasure. Come on!"

"Okay, let's go!"

Then, they came into their plane and they went to Sardinia for about one and half an hour. After that, they arrived in Cagliari. They immediately went to the hotel there and would probably have a walk when they had enough rest. He couldn't wait for the following day to come.

Sunny day! It was good for Seb as he would bring Jacqie and Vania to a beach in Sardinia. He never came there before, but he was sure that it was a nice beach to visit. At about, he came into their room. "Morning, Jacqie."

Jacqie smiled and said, "Morning, Seb."

"Are you ready to go to the beach?"

"Yes! I'm ready!"
