(Authors POV)
It was 5pm and Jason just texted that he has no time to go to dinner with them. At first Natalie and David were a little bummed out but then they remembered that like this it would be like a couples dinner double date. Natalie started getting ready at around 6pm. David was already done sitting on couch chilling on his phone when Nat walked in. She wore a red tight dress and only had little make up on. David was so blown away from how good she looked.
(David's POV)
Wow she is absolutely gorgeous, I really am the luckiest man on planet earth to call this women mine. That tight dress almost made me want to stay in today and spend the evening alone with Nat doing you know what;).
"What are you looking at is something wrong with my dress?" Natalie asked
"No baby not at all you just look breathtaking, all I want to do is wrap my arms around you and kiss you" I answer
"You will have to wait to do that till we get back home after dinner" she said and came over to give me a short peck
"I can't wait for it" I say grinning
The car ride to Olive Garden was quite not awkward silence though it was comfortable. I had my hand resting on Nat's thigh while she was texting Mariah that we would be there soon. Before leaving the car we kissed again. Because I obviously wanted to be a gentleman I opened the door for her and helped her out
"Wow having you as a boyfriend is really good for me. I didn't know you were such a gentleman when you show your Dobrik Love" Nat said giggling
"Oh come on what did you expect I'm not just here with my amazing looks babe I am 100% here with my heart" I answer also giggling
"A little bit selfish but also true you are here with your amazing looks, I forgot to tell you earlier but you look very handsome today"
"Thank you Nat, I love you" I say to her
"Love you too, and now let's go I'm getting cold"
We kiss and I lead her to the Olive Garden entrance.
"We are over here" I hear Heath shouting from the back of the restaurant
"Hi guys" I say and we all hug
The conversation is going really good we are talking a lot about the future and how we all want to live our lives. If Heath doesn't put a ring on Mariah soon I don't understand. They are absolutely perfect for each other. We order our food and the girls go use the bathroom.
"Hey dude I just wanted to say you and Natalie are so good for each other. I haven't seen either of you so happy in a long time." Heath said
"Yes you are right I am so happy that I can finally be with her and yeah I cannot describe how good she is making me feel."
I can't get the smile out of my face
(Nat's POV)
Mariah and I went to use the bathroom before our dinner is arriving but we all know that "using the bathroom" is girl code for discussing how life is going right now
"So you and David? Is it serious? Or are you just having fun?" Mariah asked me
"I mean yes obviously we are having fun but it is serious, he is not getting away from me that quick. It is honestly still weird to say but I love him" I say
"Wow that is so cute I am incredibly happy for you two, I have been hoping for David to finally get the balls and ask you out. And I don't think he would want to get away from you" she said laughing a little
"Thank you Mariah I am so happy to here that"
We went back to the boys and my Pasta was already there.
"I am so happy that we finally have another couple to go on double dates with" Heath said
"We are happy to. I don't think I have ever been on a double date so we are making progress in my dating experience" David said
"I love this so much I am having a lot of fun, I hope that we can do this again, I would like to get Chinese food" I say
"Oh yeah Nat is obviously thinking about the food" David said laughing at me
"Babe that is not fair you love good just as much as i do"
"Ok true, so we better get going there is a whole lot on our schedule tomorrow" David said
We all said our goodbyes and hugged
"That was so much fun babe I am happy we did this" I say to him on our way to the car, we are walking hand in hand
"It really was I didn't think that I was ever going to like going to dinner" Dave said
"Maybe that's because you didn't go with me before" I say with a smile
"That's definitely it!!" He said and wrapped his arm around me
We got home and I checked my phone for the first time this evening
"Fuck David, Nooo, Shit, no David" I yell
"What babe? Natalie what happened? Tell me!" David said in panic
"There are pictures of us hugging and holding hands and, oh no, us kissing at the car before we went into Olive Garden" I say just as panicked as he is
"Don't ever set me in panic like that again I through you just saw something terrible" David said hugging me
"But this is terrible, we didn't want anybody to know yet" I say almost crying
"I know babe, I know but if you think about it it is not so bad, It would have come out some day anyway" David said looking in my eyes
"Maybe you are right. I want the world to know that I love you" I kiss him
"I want that too and now let's get to bed, I wasn't kidding about the busy schedule tomorrow"
We got into his room and I took my clothes of and asked for one of his hoodies. It was quite oversized for me but I know that he thought I looked cute. I took my make up of and got into bed with him. He immediately wrapped his arms around me and kissed me.
"I love you Natalie"
"I love you too David, I'm happy the public knows"
"I'm happy too, let's call our parents tomorrow morning and tell them in person too" he said
"Yes let's do that" I kiss him again and slowly start falling asleep.
