(David's POV)
"Hey Nat. Babe wake up it is already 12" I said shaking Nat's shoulder and kissing her head
"What did you say"
"It is 12 and we have to get up now"
"No how is it already 12 I was so sure that I set an alarm" Natalie said clearly upset
"Baby it's fine, there is not a lot to do today" I say to her trying to calm her down
"So what are we doing today?" Natalie said to me and gave me a short kiss
"Uh I don't really know but first we have to call our parents and tell them about us"
"Okay but first I want to get some coffee, can you postmate some? You know my order right?" Nat says getting up from our bed
"Of course I know your order I get you coffee every day don't forget that, and where are you going?" I ask her
"I'm just getting ready I will be right back"
(Nat's POV)
David just got me my coffee after I got out of the shower. I am really exited that we are telling our parents today. I think that they probably already know what is going on because of the pictures that got leaked but I'm still looking forward to it.
"Let's first call my family okay?" David asked me
"Sure are your siblings home?" I ask
"Yes probably. Are you nervous?"
"A little bit I know that they will support us" I say putting one arm around him.
We dial the number and his parents pic up the FaceTime call immediately.
"Hey Mom, Hey Dad, hey guys" David is greeting his family
"Hey you two what's going on?" His mother asks
"We were calling because we wanted to share some news with you guys" I say to them
"Natalie and I are dating" David just blurted out
I don't know what reaction we were expecting but it was not the one we got from them. They were just smiling and didn't even look surprised.
"Wait why are you not reacting?" I ask them
"Honestly I'm not surprised because I know it was gonna happen between the two of you at some point and also, David, your sisters are on social media and they showed us the pictures of you two" David's father said
"Oh yeah we were thinking about that too earlier but ok that's fine. We just wanted to tell you in person two" David said smiling into the camera
"That's very nice of you"
"Have a nice day you guys!! We have mir people to call" David said before hanging up the call
"Ok that was a fail" I say laughing
"I mean yea but it was still fun, who should we call next?"
"Maybe my dad?" I ask
"Yes let's go"
"Hello Dad?" I ask "are you there?"
"Yes sweetie I'm right here I had to figure out how to see you guys and have you see me" my dad said slightly confused
"So Natalie and I are calling to tell you that we are now dating" David said
"Oh guys I am so happy for you two, I knew it was going to happen some day" my dad said smiling
"Did you know that we were a thing? Like did you read it somewhere? I ask him
"No I didn't, did you two publicly confirm it?"
"Well no we didn't but there were pictures of us kissing leaked to the public" I say
"Oh no i didn't see those, are you calling your mom too?" My father asks
"Yes we will call her right after this" I say to him
"Okay so I will not continue to steal you guy's time, have a nice day" may dad says
"Bye dad, love you" I say and hang up
"That worked way better than the first one" David said kissing my cheek
"Now let's call my mom"
"Hello Jen" David said as my mom answered the call
"Hey guys, the lovely couple is calling" my mom said laughing
"Oh man okay so you already know about us too" I say a little disappointed because I wanted to break the news to her
"Yes I do and I am really happy that you guys are finally doing the next step, I knew it was going to happen" she said still smiling
"You know Jen you are not the first person saying that today" David said
"I can imagine. I would love to talk more to you guy but I really have to go grocery shopping before the shops are closing" she said
"Alright mom see you soon" I say while waving into the camera
"Bye sweetheart"
"That was nice babe I'm happy we told them today" David said looking at me
"Yes it really was and talking of grocery shopping, I should probably go do that too"
"Ok see you" he said and pulled me close once more to kiss me
"Babe I really have to leave" I say
"I know, I will miss you" he said pouting
"It won't be long I promise" I kiss him again and go to my car
(David's POV)
Today I wanted to make something special for Nat. I know she is going to be late out to go shopping and she is going to be tired so I decided I want to make a movie night with her. But not just a normal one chilling on the couch I wanted to make it special. I called Joe and Jeff over to help me move my bed into the backyard, I saw that on TikTok and it it looked so cool I had to try it. We also got a project so we could wach some of Natalie's favorite movies tonight. To top it all I got out a bunch of fairy lights to decorate the bed and the backyard. I also ordered Chipotle and her favorite snacks. I even got some wine for us.
Now it was time for me to wait, I was so excited to see her reaction. I went to sit in the living room until I saw her entering the front door with dozens of bags in her hands.
"Wait there babe I will come help you" I say and rush to help her
"Thank you that was literally torture. I was so crowded in the store I am so glad to see you" she came close to me and wrapped her arms around my torso
"Okay why don't you just go change into something comfy and I put the groceries away? And don't look into the back yard I have a surprise for you" I say to her and kiss her forehead
"Okay I won't I hope it's not a python because if it is I am moving out" she says grinning
"I would never do that to you" I say and wink at her "but trust me this one is a good one"
"Okay I trust you" Nat says and leaves to go change in her room
I am so exited to show her the surprise.
"Ok what is the surprise I want to know now babe!!" Natalie says pinching me
"Take my Hand and close your eyes"
She did and I guided her towards my bed in the backyard
"Open now" I say and look at her to see her reaction
"Wow babe this is so pretty, was that your idea?" Natalie asked looking around
"Yes I mean No, I don't know. It was TikTok's idea but I wanted to do it, so you like it?" I ask
"Yes David yes I love it" Natalie says and I was immediately really content
"Let's lay down and eat" I say an push er into the bed
"OMG yes you got me food" Natalie replied happily
"Of course, I know my girl" I say to her
We eat and watch movies until we are both getting cold
(Nat's POV)
"This idea was great baby but it is getting really cold and the bed jag starting to get a little clammy" I say to David
"Okay perfect but now we have a problem" he says looking worried
"Why what happened?" I ask now also worried
"We can not carry the bed back into my room by our self, where do we sleep?" He asks
"Did the gentleman not plan out the plan completely through?" I say grinning at him
"Maybe"
"It is fine we can sleep in my room" I say
"Oh yea I totally forgot that you have your one room with a bed. Let's take the things that we can carry and go inside" he said
We get inside and only throw all our stuff on the pool table. And rush to the bedroom to warm ourselves.
"That was really sweet of you" I say snuggling into his chest
"Thank you babe I am happy you like it" he said clearly happy that he could impress me
"Good Night I love you so much. Thank you for everything" I say and kiss him
"Sleep tight sweetheart. Thank you too I love you"
We both fell asleep shortly after that.
