Emmanuella POV

Its the last weekend before we resume at Dowen Academy as ss3 students and with all that has happened, I just hope there will be no drama. To be honest, I think too much drama can bring forth baby mamas. Anyway, I was currently at home in the sitting room having makeup tutorial with Zoey and Addie. They were doing different things to my face right now, as much as I hated it, I couldn't complain. They both promised to sponsor the bill for my date with Kelvin tonight.

Its our one week anniversary, I was super excited, I just couldn't believe I had to wait four years before it finally happened. No wonder I found it difficult to like someone else, oh well, I really wouldn't have it any other way, I sighed in contentment.

"Hold still sissy, stop squeezing your face, you are ruining the make up "

"Urgh, I can't feel my face Zoey, aren't we done yet "

"No, now hold still, I'm almost done"

"Urgh fine "

I muttered and held still while Addie and Zoey worked on my face, but at some point, Addie didn't like the way my eye shadows was done, so she said,

"Now now, Zoey you're doing it wrong. Here, let me help"

"Urgh, back of Addison, I've got it. "

"No, you don't and now you are applying the blush wrongly "

" Urgh, will you quit butting it, I've got this, I went to makeup school! "

"Well, I run a cosmetics company a makeup school and a fashion line, so yeah, I know you are going about this wrongly"

"No you are! "

"No you are!"

"No you are!"

"No you are! "

My sisters were at it again, arguing like little 3 year olds. I groaned,  rolling my eye at them as a call came in. I sneaked to the kitchen, so I could have a conversation without their bickering intruding.

"Hey guys, what'sup."

"Heyyyyyyyyyy Emmmmmmaaaa! "

"Hold up, is this a conference call? "

"You know it, Emma "

The whole gang yelled and I had to move the phone away from my ears before they ruined my ear drums.

Lydia:So what have you and Kelvin planned

Me : I have no idea, he said it was a surprise. Wait, is he on this call too.

Lydia:oh no its mercy and the other guys

Me: oh okay

Mercy: so you really have no idea where he is taking you

Me: not a clue

Ebuka : well I guess the conference call was a waste of time. Be sure to give us every detail of how the date went, when you get back.

Me: yeah sure, totally I gotta go, Kelvin's calling.

With that, I hung up and switched to Kelvin

Me: Hi Kelvin, I mean dear bear, i mean Kel bear

I said with a nervous chuckle

Kelvin: looks like someone's a little excited about our date

Me: oh you know it! Urr quick question, where are you taking me?

Kelvin: awwwn, how sweet, but I won't tell, its a surprise, you would love it!! I hope.

He responded warily and I smiled reassuringly, as if he could see me. I quickly shook off the smile and responded reassuringly

Me : everything will be fine, Kelvin I....

No you are!
No you are!
No you are!

Me: I just need to take care of my sisters before they tear each others heads off

Kelvin : okay, make sure you look pretty tonight oh, who am I kidding, you're always pretty.

Me: yeh yeh yeh yeh

With that, the line went dead and I put my phone into the back pocket of my jeans. I went back to the sitting room, only to find my elder sisters going head to head, only because of make up, quickly I interfered, saying

"Hey will you two chill, its just one date, I'm not getting married, okay!! At least, not yet "

" We are so sorry, Emma,  we didn't realize we were --"

"Yeah, you were. Now, I'm going to get ready for my date. "

I responded, feeling on edge. Just as I was ascended the stairs to my room, I heard Addie yell.

"Wait, do you want us to do your make up?"

"No thank you, I think I've had enough make up for one day"

I yelled back. By the time I got the chance to look at the mirror at my dressing table, I shivered,  as I looked like someone who's make up went wrong and just stepped out of a haunted movie. I quickly got to work with baby wipes, for it was time for my date. I had already planned the perfect outfit with a touch of red.

I sighed, remembering how Kelvin and I became a thing, it all seemed like yesterday, and now, we were 1 week old. I gotta say I didn't see any of that coming, this Valentine's day celebration. I always thought that this year was going to be like every other Valentine's day. Boring, repulsive and a beautiful catastrophe. But this one was different, very different,  and I am glad that even though I once hated him, I'm happy he made sure it wasn't just another Valentines Day.
