Kelvin POV

Its been over a week since the incident at the canteen, and things between Emma and I had gone for bad to worse. The whole gang can almost see the tension rising between us.

I wish she would give me a chance to apologize again. But its like each time I see an opening to properly apologize, there's always some sort of diversion and boom, the chance slips.

I groaned mentally at how frustrating all this is. Just like Lydia, my sit partner, and Emma's best friend rightly said, I have some serious feelings for Emma and now, I can't even talk to her or rather, she wouldn't even give me a chance too.

Today was sports, try-outs day and if everything went well, maybe I could fix things with Emma and get my name off her 'do-not-talk-to list'.

I was on my way out of the art studio, where I'd been focused on drawing the dream wedding gown. I had seen a few (senior secondary 2) S.S.2 students passing by and they were staring at me like I was a falling angel, I chuckled at them and winked, which caused one of the girls to faint dramatically. I laughed at that, before I walked away, in search of my friend, who I presumed, must be downstairs, in the midst of the crowd that was slowly gathering because of the tryouts.

Emmanuella POV.

Mercy, Lydia and I were downstairs, waiting for the boys and tryouts to begin, while I gave the girls the full gist of what went down that Saturday night.

"Okay, calm down Emma, are you sure it was Kelvin? I mean, there is a 90% chance that it was someone else but because he kinda looks like Kelvin you think its him"

"Oh Mercy, why so naive, of course, its Kelvin, I'd recognize him anywhere"

"Umm dur!!!!, no one can pull off that Greek god look. "

"He is not a Greek god Lydia!! Stop calling him that, before you make his ego twice the size of this school! "

"Okay, just saying"

"Besides, even if it wasn't Kelvin, at least the person apologized right?"

When Mercy said this, it caused me to respond a little harsher than intended, but Lydia scolded me anyway.
