Feelings Of A Wallflower

As time travels to the night sky,that was covered in darkness,with glistening star lights glowing in the sky,owls are heard everywhere,all the nocturnal animals are coming out of their homes,Ryder,Carlos,and the pups sat near the camp fire,talking to each other and telling scary stories.

"I'm so glad we get to have a camp out in the jungle."Skye said out of nowhere,chosing to start a conversation,to pass the time,

Then Chase continued,"Yeah, we kinda need it,after all the rescues we've done,it's like our break or vacation from all our hard work."

"You know what's best about camping."Rubble asks the group,creating a silly grin at his face,

Everyone just rolled their eyes and answered,"MARSHMALLOWS!"then everyone gives the bulldog a laugh.

"How did you know?"Rubble asks with a slight chuckle and earning an answer from Skye,"Rubble,you have the bag of marshmallows next to you."
"Oh right,hehe."Once again everyone laughs,knowing that Rubble has the biggest appetite among them all,

"OK pups,it's time to get to bed,it's getting late,"Ryder said yawning and stretching his arms,then the pups replied,"Awww do we have too?"Ryder just laugh at their reaction,"Yeah, it's already late, OK pups,go to you're tents with you're pair, I'll put out the fire.",he said as everyone went to their seperate ways,as the fire is being put out,

Marshall's POV:

As Ryder told us to get to our tent with our partner,I was a little disappointed because my partner was Rubble,I don't mind being pair with him,it's just that he snores really loud,I sigh,  it's gonna be really hard to sleep tonight.

I got to my tent,before I could enter I notice that Chase was talking,to Rubble,wonder what their talking about,I thought to myself,before entering and after that I went inside my tent and went to my spot with my teddy bear,Chase gave me,I'm still wondering why Chase gave me his childhood toy,as I hug the toy,tight as I can,a thought came to my mind,"smells just like him."Then in just a few minutes,I drifted off to sleep.

"Huh,where am I."I ask myself,as I explore my surroundings,I notice that I was in a mysterious hill,and notice that there was someone sitting not to far away from me,I squinted my eyes to recognize to who it was because of the darkness,

"Chase?!"I yelled.

"Hey, Marshall, glad you're here."he said to me with a delighted smile,and then I replied and asked."For what?."

"Come here."he asked me to come,patting the ground  beside him,signaling for me to sit,I did what he said,sitting besides him a few centimeters apart from him,there was a moment of eerie silence filling this empty void,until he spoke breaking the chains of silence,"Hey, Marshall,can I ask you a question?"I replied with a yes,nodding my head,after that he took deep breaths and finally spoke."Marshall do you like me? "after that question my face immediately turned scarlet red,turning me into a red faced dalmatian,so many things are arguing at my mind right now,like should I say,"yes I like you because there's something in you,that I truly admire,no,no,no!!!,what should I say,thinking of a word to say,scrambling at my mind right at this very moment,

Marshall?

"Quickly say something,anything!!!!."I mentally shouted at myself,"Um,yes,I've always been fond of you Chase."I said closing my eyes,gripping the ground with my paw,and then he said something.

He smiled with a tear escaping in his eyes,"That's good to hear,I guess,"When I turned around,to face him he was gone,again,darkness filled the empty void,then suddenly a blue flame light up near me,I was in awe of its blazing features,then after that,the flame shape ship,into a pup,and it look like,Chase?!

"Marshall,do you really,love me?"he ask me with a single tear escaping in his eye.

It took me some time to answer,even though this is just a dream,it felt so realistic to me,"Yes......I do Chase."I finally answered,with a stutterd voice.

"Then,why didn't you tell me,!?"he yelled with a deep of displeasure in his voice.

"I-it's not that easy Chase,Skye loves you,and I know you love her too,it's pointless for me to even tell to the real you!!!"

Chase was silent for a moment,until he spoke,"Is that what you really think?"

"I--."before I could answer the flames suddenly grew bigger like a flower blossoming from an empty field,covering and devouring every inch of my body,entering the inside,I can't breath,I beg and beg for air,but nothing.
