A blonde man lay down on the bed.

He wanted to sleep. But he couldn't.

What was he so bothered about?

Maybe the conversation between Alfred and Kiku earlier.

Why would he be bothered about it anyway? There were a lot more things to be worried about than a definite private conversation.

Especially at this time.

He was asking himself why he even forced himself to go with Alfred and why his boss allowed him to go here during the war.

"Bloody hell.."

He bit his lower lip and stared up on the ceiling.

Arthur was already tired, why not just shut his eyes and drift to sleep?

It was tough, apparently.

He was worried about what is going on in Europe.

He should've stayed, right?

His boss did tell him he will only be here for 2-3 months or shorter.

His boss had his own doubts. Arthur could clearly tell.

It was in his face and voice.

"Am I really allowed to, sir?"

"Yes. You would only stay there for a while, we obviously still need you here."

"But there's no more other big things to worry besides the country and Germany's next move for now."

"M-maybe I'll just stay here, sir. You sound very hesitant.."

"And you said you still needed me.."

"It's okay, Arthur. We'll find a way to find a temporary replacement for you."

"I'll only give you 2-3 months. Or maybe less, it depends."

"But please, be careful Arthur."

"This is a World War worse than the first."

"I understand, sir. I'll try."

He's still unharmed, which is something his boss really hoped for him to be.

Arthur was obviously glad, he was only here for a week.

No news about anyone out to get him back.

He hopes his country is holding up well against the Germans.

"What about that French frog..?"

He asked himself in a whisper.

Why would he even be worried about Francis Bonnefoy, the personification of France?

He clearly despised him.

Arthur scoffed at the thought of Francis.

He tried to quit thinking about him and maybe something else.

But he wasn't really successful in doing so.

Francis' country was one of his allies during this war.

And Arthur hates the Frenchman.

So much that he would feel like splashing his own tea onto the man's face out of spite.

But he does know he shouldn't waste a good cup of tea on Francis.
