When demons are drained emotionally, like just have all the life and fight taken from them, their eyes go grey, the color is drained from them. Their hair will straighten, and their eyes will go grey, the glimmer of light snuffed out, replaced by a reflection of darkness. Usually this happens when a demon is banished to Purgatory, where they eventually become Purgers. Other times they're like this before going to purgatory, but they all end up there in the end.
Recovery from this state is possible with a proper support system, but it's not reliable, and even if they are "cured" the trauma of it all still remains.

Divinites(ang/dems) are so good at everything because they live to be old af. Being physically capable and in-your-prime for the majority of your incomprehensibly long life means you learn a Hell of a lot of things. Older divinities tend more toward the incredible-at-all-things, while younger divs are more "human" In their capabilities.
Humans, however, cannot tell older divinites from younger ones, and because it's pretty much just oldish (luci's generation) divs that go to earth (because older than him aren't interested, younger haven't learned to control themselves around humans yet) humans just think that all divinities are just kickass at all things.

The transition for a demon/angel trying to read books in heaven/hell is easy enough, it just takes some getting used to, however an angel/demon trying to read human books is a confusing transition, doable, but weird, it just feels unnatural
