Juilliard was awesome. I loved my classes, my teachers were professionals in their field and their lectures were very interesting. The campus was great and food was better than in high school. I guess it made sense, I was in one of the best private schools in the country. We had composition classes and I learned so many things. I couldn't be happier. High school had been great I guessed. But doing what I actually loved was awesome. I met some new people too. Hailey was in my English literature class and we bound98ed really easily. It was a tall blond-haired girl with brown eyes. She was gorgeous and really nice. We read the same books, listened to the same music. I absolutely loved her.
I also met Ariana and Jake at a composition class. These two were inseparable since September and we had quite the same tastes in music, so we just hung out together when we had classes together.

Living with Shawn was okay, except for his consistent mess but I just got along with it. Time to time I would yell at him to make him clean a little bit. Fortunately, we didn't see each other that much. He was really busy with his medical studies and if he wasn't in the library he was locked in his room. We didn't even really ate at the same time. I was usually eating around 8 pm while he could make him a hamburger around midnight. His lifestyle was a total mess and I knew he wasn't like that in Miami, Karen always made sure he was healthy but who was I tell him something after all? I noticed he was really tired though, he had blue dark rings around his eyes and he was paler than usual.

" I'm home." I said closing the door behind me.

" Don't care."

I rolled my eyes and took off my coat. Shawn was sitting on the couch with his guitar and didn't even bother to look at me. I sat next to him and he raised his brow.

" What do you want?"

" It's Friday night."

" So? I'm not going to purposely spend time with you if it's what you want to ask."

I sighed. Last year with all the stuff that happened in my life, he was actually nicer with me and I even thought for a moment that we were becoming friendly but now that we live together, he was just being a total ass with me the few times we actually saw each other in the apartment.

" Why would I want to spend time with an asshole like you? No, I just wanted to let you know that two of my friends are coming tonight to do a movie night."

He groaned and put his guitar away.

" Since when do you bring people here?"

" I live here, I don't see the problem. "

Shawn rolled his eyes and stood up.

" Whatever, I will stay in my room."

He began to walk and I followed him.

" What's your fucking problem?"

He stopped and glared at me.

" Besides living with you I'm totally fine Camila. "

" I'm not exactly thrilled to be stuck with you in New York when I thought that we will finally not have to see the other now that we're in college but it's the way things are!" I shout out.

He buried his face in his hands and sighed. I frowned and moved closer to my roommate.

" What's really going on Shawn? "

" Nothing."

I grabbed his hands to remove them from his face and studied him. He looked vulnerable.

" When was the last time you actually slept?"

" Don't remember."

I sighed again and stood silent. I didn't know what to do. I was not used to see him like that. In high school he always looked so fine with his life. Maybe because back then, it really was. I tried to let go his hands but he tightened the grip and nuzzled his head in my neck. I sucked in a breath, really not familiar with this kind of closeness with him. But I eventually put one arm on his back and the other on the back of his neck, and gently brushed his hair.
