Joviana didn't know what to do, her parents had travelled for a wedding in Lagos, Joviana was left in Julia's care but the person supposed to take care of her was no where to be found. If she called her parents, they would probably catch the next flight and start looking for their daughter , that would be too much stress.

'Who can I call now?" Joviana pondered

Nathan? ( yes, she stole Nathan's number froma WhatsApp group)
Their aunt?.

Veronica had her own issues to handle, so she was out of the list, their aunt was probably at the wedding because it was one of their relation's.
Nathan was like the only option.
With fidgety fingers, she tapped at his number , he answered at first ring.
" hello?" He said in questioning voice.

" I can't find Julia, we were at the mall and she was buying stuffs and I was pricing an item, now I can't find her, I don't know...." Joviana rattled away.

" Jovi, breathe. . "He instructed calmly.

" okay, okay"
" what's the name of the mall?" He asked.
" goodies and giddy" she said quickly.
" stay where you are, I'd be there" he hung up.

Joviana sighed and muttered prayers for her sister's safety.

Soon enough a car pulled up in front of Joviana and Nathan came out of it, he was wearing a hoodie and a pair of joggers. Now that Joviana thought of it, the air was getting chilly.
Nathan scrutinised her closely before asking " are you okay?"
" yes, kinda" she mumbled.

" get into the car" he held the door open for her and Joviana just obeyed , she was feeling so helpless.
" where are we going" she finally asked as the car sped on, Nathan instructed the driver to move as fast as he could legally.

" let's search the streets and maybe then we would alight and comb the bushes. She wouldn't have gone far, that is if she wasn't abducted" he said and heaved a sigh.
" I knew something would happen, I could feel it in my guts!" Joviana thought out loud.
" calm down babe, we'd find her" Nathan said and put his hand on hers, instantly she felt safe.
They searched the streets close to the mall and even went further, they couldn't find Julia.

The driver maneouvered into a quiet street with few houses and there was hardly any light coming from these houses. On the floor layed Julia, wincing in pain, her clothes shred in pieces, she looked completely dishelved.

Joviana jumped out of the car, barely allowing the driver to stop. Nathan followed her.
" noo, who did this! " Joviana said with a shaky voice, she was crying.
" hope you weren't raped?"
Julia couldn't reply , she just winced in pain .
" I'm here now, sis we'll get you to the hospital now" Joviana croaked.
With the help of Nathan, Julia was gotten into the car.
" thank you Nathan, I sure owe you one" Joviana said this with all sincerity.
'' Hmm, we would talk about what you owe me after now but first let's get Julia to the hospital " Nathan said with a smirk and Joviana couldn't help but blush despite the situation at hand.

Julia woke up to the pungent smell of drugs and disinfectant, typical of a hospital, she hated being sick and hospitals were not her kind of place at all.

" she's quite okay now but a few injuries, no broken bones or anything, she should rest and take drugs" the doctor said.
" can we take her home?" Joviana questioned.
" yes, after footing the bills" he replied " you must have called your parents right?"
" ermm..." Joviana stuttered.
" yes, they'd transfer the money now , give me the account number" Nathan stepped in for Joviana.

The doctor gave Nathan the account number and in minutes the money was sent. This surprised Joviana.
Nathan had been very helpful, he had stayed up at the hospital with her even when she refused to go home.

" how did you get the money?" She asked him
" my parents sent it, I told them what happened "
"Oh wow, thanks a bunch " she smiled at him.
" eh ehn ehh" Julia cleared her throat in her mischievous manner.

" I thought we had an interhouse sport to plan for, let's go home" Julia grinned, you wouldn't even imagine that she had been injured just yesterday.

" don't tell me you're going" Joviana raised a questioning eyebrow.

" durrrh" Julia said rolling her eyes.
" lest I forgot, you haven't told us what happened yesterday" Nathan finally said.

" hmm, I was quite foolish sha, I saw a guy who said he recognised me from Instagram, I was delighted, we talked for sometime and he requested I escort him outside the mall.."

" wait, you fell for that? " Joviana's eyes widened in surprise.
" so, who na injured you, your 'fan'?" She air quoted.
" he seemed interesting and we talked and I didn't even know we had gone so far, all of a sudden a guy came out from a corner and pounced on me, the guy I was talking to shouted for help but the area was eerily quiet "Julia continued.

" so your supposed fan later abandoned you to your fate" Joviana said.
" something is fishy, veryy fishy, they didn't take anything?" She asked again.
" nope, My phone's in my purse" Julia confirmed .
" the stuffs you bought?"
" you took them to Nathan's car, remember?"
" yes, but whosoever did this to you has a motive and I feel that something's up"
" I totally agree" Nathan said.

Regardless of the incident, the Three went home to prepare for the inter house sports, Nathan said he would come and get them with the car ( it was his dad's by the way, they're very well to do).
Julia applied Joviana's makeup and also helped her fix her hair in a ponytail.
She also did her own makeup and they both dressed up in their gowns.
They looked like queens, or they appeared to be dressed for a bigger occasion like prom or even a wedding as part of asoebi.

Nathan arrived soon , dressed in a gold coloured shirt and Louis vuitton suits, his shoes were shiny and his hair was darker than usual, he looked breathe taking and as Nathan opened the door for the two sisters Joviana couldn't help but say it.
" you look ravishing"
" you too" he smiled.
