It's almost 12 midnight and Ryujin still can't sleep. She kept on thinking about her dream last night. It just sounded so real. She can't remember any scenario but she swear she heard it.

I like you Shin Ryujin, I really like you.

"Ugh, get over that already!" she whisper-shouted and sat on her bed.

She decided to get up and get tea downstairs since this tea really helps her to fall asleep.

She got her tea and went upstairs. As she was walking to her room, she saw someone on their balcony. It was Beomgyu, drinking coffee while looking at the city lights.

Why the heck is he drinking coffee at this hour?

Should I approach him? or not?

She approached him.

"Hey." he turned his head. "Can't sleep?" she went beside him.

"Hey Jinnie, why are you still up?" he asked.

"I can't sleep, how about you?"

"I also can't sleep" he said turning his head back to the city lights while sipping his cup of coffee.

"Wah, I love this view! I can stay here for hours." Ryujin exclaimed.

Their house is quite high so you can see the city and I'm telling you it's really beautiful.

"So, how's life? This is the perfect time to talk about life don't you think?" Beomgyu asked.

"Yeah, I think so too. Well, life is okay. Our life is somehow better than before." she said, eyes glued on the city.

"Why?"

"Back then, we're really sad, stressed out by a lot of things not to mention my sister's death." she said glancing at him.

"But we accepted the fact that she is not with us anymore and we know she's in a safe place now. We still miss her though."

Losing a loved one is like losing a part of you. Your heart will broke into pieces and the only way you can get through with it is by picking it up and accepting that it happened.

When someone you love becomes a memory, the memory becomes a treasure.

"Don't worry, she is always here with you and your family. I just know it" Beomgyu said smiling at her

"Thanks a lot Beom" she smiled back. "So how about you? how's life?"

He shifted his gaze back to the city.

"It's actually great."

"That's good to hear" she said. "How about your parents?"

"They're divorced."

"Oh I'm sorry to hear-" she said.

"It's okay Jinnie, don't worry. We're good." Beomgyu reassured her. "Well, my dad is the CEO of our company while my mom is a nurse in Daegu."

"Wow, that's great to hear. You know, I always wanted to go to Daegu" she said.

"I can take you there someday if we have time" he said smiling.

"Really?" her face lit up.

"Of course why not—"

She hugged him.

"Thank you Beoms! I'll look forward to that."

He nodded.

"You're welcome in advance."

...

They chatted some more and she talked about her childhood which is pretty interesting for him.

"And that's how I fell to that muddy puddle of water."

"That's disgusting Jinnie" he chuckled.

"Really disgusting" she laughed. "Tell me about your childhood."

"I don't have any" he said and she raised a brow.

"What do you mean? all of us experienced childhood Mr. Choi" she giggled.

"I mean yeah I experienced it but I don't remember it."

"Huh? I don't get it" she said and he can see that she's puzzled.

"I'll tell you." he cleared his throat. "When I was 16, I got involved in an accident."

She gasped. "What—"

"I got hit by a car."

"What? why did you got hit?"

"My dad said I was biking, I didn't get the full information though."

"Are you okay? what happened after?"

"I don't know, I lost my memory" he scratched the back of his neck.

"Oh.My.God"

"What?"

"I'm so glad you lived, Ya! stop biking."

He smiled at her response.

"I never biked after that incident" Beomgyu replied.

"You didn't ask your parents about your childhood?"

"Nope, but it's okay. I'm alive and that what matters."

"Aww, too bad you can't remember your childhood. It must be awesome."

"Maybe, maybe not. But the doctors said that there is a possibility that my memory will come back."

"How?"

"I don't know, maybe if I did something from my childhood?"

"Okay, I have a plan."

"What is it?"

"What if I make you experience your childhood? maybe your memory will come back!"

"How exactly?"

"I can take you to playgrounds, amusement parks, or what."

"That sounds stupid" Beomgyu giggled.

"It's not!"

"We could try."

"Okay!"

...

"It's already 1:30 in the morning" Ryujin said.

"Oh yeah, we should go to sleep Jinnie."

They entered the house.

"Goodmornight Beoms!" she said.

"Goodmornight Jinnie" he said and she closed her door.

He went to the guest room and closed the door. He got in bed and looked at the ceiling.

"Are you gonna be the person who will regain my memory?" he sighed and immediately fell asleep.
