Aladdin

*Aladdin is around eighteen, nineteen in this one shot*

Aladdin dropped the letter and ran, his heart beating wildly and hands shaking. Sprinting for
Y/n's dorm, he slammed into the door and pounded his fist against it.

" Y/n!"

Silence.

" Y/N!"

He waved his staff and busted the door down. Running in, he ran into the bathroom and gave a shaky breath.
Falling to his knees, he dragged Y/n out of the tub and hugged her tightly. Her lips were a pale blue, probably from the cold. He patted her cheek urgently.

" Y/n please!"

He bent down and felt her breath gently brush his cheek. Ice cold.
Biting his lip, he picked her up and lay her in front of the fireplace.
Titus knocked gently.

" Excuse me Y/n. Are you there?"

Marga knocked this time.

" Y/n, me and Titus are worried."

Aladdin answered and forced a smile.

" Marga, could you help Y/n with something?"

The said girl nodded.

" She's currently soaking wet...do you mind-"

" Yeah, ok."

Thankfully, she didn't ask any questions, and Aladdin turned to the blonde Magi nervously.

" Um...I don't know what to say..."

Titus smiled gently.

" Don't worry, I'm sure that when the time comes, you can explain what's going on. For now, just take care of her for us, k?"

Aladdin sighed in relief and nodded.
Marga returned and bit her lip.

" We should leave. She's kinda awake, but looks a little sick. "

Titus nodded and shot Aladdin a wary look.

" Goodnight Aladdin. "

They left and gently shut the door behind them.
Aladdin walked into her bedroom.
Y/n was staring dully at the window, rain splattering against it gently.
When he walked in, she cut her gaze to him.
Aladdin carefully took a seat beside her.
Grabbing her hands, he pressed them to his lips and sighed.

" I'm sorry. "

Y/n's eyes widened and she blinked.

" I'm sorry I couldn't stop you from feeling this way for a while. I'm sorry I never saw the signs. I'm sorry I couldn't look out for you like you do for me. Please forgive me."

Y/n shakily took a breath.

" No, don't apologise. I thought...I thought it would pass. And it did. Whenever I was travelling with you, or studying with Titus. When I was making flower crowns with Marga, and aurguing with Sphintus. I feel happy, and, and."

She blinked away tears.

" I wish it could stay that way. "

Aladdin gently lay down and pulled her on to his chest. She buried her face in his shoulder and wrapped her arms around is neck. Aladdin pulled the blankets up and hummed soothing melodies til she fell asleep.
Wrapping his arms around her, he too fell asleep minutes later.

When he woke up, he blushed lightly and nudged the girl.

" Good morning Y/n."

Y/n stirred and sat up suddenly.
