Wonderland (a Taylor Swift adoption story)

Chapter 10

"Okay, so I guess there's a little explaining to do," Taylor said from the couch.

"Maybe just a little," the twin's friends all said. At that point all three of them were sobbing, with the twins just smiling at them.

"Well, I'm sure you've read their posts about what they were going through in their life," Taylor began. The girls all nodded. "Well, I saw that as you know. Joe and I have been looking to adopt for a while now, and we decided these girls would be best for our family. We invited them to tour, and we met them before the show. Those pictures of me crying and Joe beside be were taken when I was telling them the news."

"Oh my god," Michaela said.

"Me too, Michaela," Anna Kate agreed. Savannah nodded, and the twins laughed.

That's when Joe spoke up, "Adding on, we got married a few months before that."

That's when everything hit the three friends. Anna Kate fainted, and the other two screamed.

"Oh my god, are you okay?" Taylor bent over her as she woke up.

"Yeah, I'm fine, I was just really excited. It was a lot to take in," she said. "Can you get me some water?"

"Of course! Go lay down for a few minutes, okay?" Taylor ran to the kitchen.

"Good job," Daisy giggled.

"Shut up," Anna Kate rolled her eyes. The rest of them just laughed.

"Okay, time to mess around. Photo time!" Taylor squealed.

"We have polaroid cameras and regular cameras," Joe said, three cameras and his phone in hand. They all posed together and took six Polaroids, one for each girl. Then they went outside and took professional-looking photos.

"When will we get them?" asked Savannah.

"Um, right now," Taylor said after a few seconds. They all got notifications from their phones.

"Can we post them and explain what happened?" asked Anna Kate.

"Of course, just leave out the part where Daisy and Delilah are adopted. Just say I invited you all over, okay?" Taylor explained.

"Got it!" Anna Kate responded.

"Can we post them too?" asked Delilah.

"Of course! Again, just leave out the adopted part," Taylor exclaimed.

Everyone posted the photos, and after a few minutes notifications started pouring in. Taylor liked all the posts.

"Oh my god!" Michaela said while looking at her phone, then laughed.

"What?" asked Taylor.

"I was just gonna say, 'Taylor Swift liked my posts!' Then I realized," Michaela explained. Everyone laughed.

"I'm getting lots of comments saying 'congrats' and 'you deserve it,'" Anna Kate smiled. The others said they were too.

"How about I spice things up and post them on my account?" Taylor asked. A few moments later and they got another notification saying Taylor had tagged them in a post.

"Am I on Taylor's instagram, twitter, and Tumblr? Yes. Am I happy? One hundred percent!" Anna Kate exclaimed.

"Hold up, what about dinner?" asked Delilah.

"Oh, of course! I'll ask Joe to heat it up a little, okay?" Taylor said.

"On it!" Joe called from inside.

A few hours passed by as if it had been a minute. Everyone was getting ready to leave, when they all got an emergency notification.

"It looks like we have some weather coming in with a possible tornado watch. It's supposed to come really fast and then just linger over us for a few hours. I don't want to send you home in this weather, if it's alright can I call your parents and ask if it's alright if you stay overnight?" Taylor asked them all.

"Yeah, that's perfectly fine," they all said quickly.

"Why wouldn't I want to stay with Taylor freaking Swift overnight?" Savannah said sarcastically.

"I don't know, why wouldn't you?" Taylor responded. They all fell into giggles which lasted for a few minutes before Taylor went to call their parents.

"This is gonna be great!" Delilah exclaimed to excited nods.

"Girls! You're all cleared to spend the night! I have extra toothbrushes which you can use, and you can use some of my old clothes for pajamas. And don't bother to give them back, it'll be like a souvenir of Taylor Swift," Taylor said excitedly.

"Thank you so much, Taylor!" they all squealed.

AUTHOR'S NOTE:

I can't believe it. The current date is May 25, 2020, which means two years since rep tour Denver! That was my show! It was the best night of my life!

Anyways, I'm pretty excited to where this story will go, even though I'm not quite sure of what's next. Honestly, I just need something to write for this A/N.
