"Good Morning Jiju" Meera stood there are Aakash opened the door

"Good morning Meera, what's up?"

"I need di" she said getting into the room while holding a saree in her hands

"Meera?" divya asked on seeing her sister in her room right in the morning

"Yeah I needed help with the Saree"

"Umm Arjun, sir, you can swoop in and take the project, I cant find any vendors within the budget" Meera said disheartened as she stood in Arjun cabin

Arjun got up and smiled, he began moving towards the door, "come with me I wanna show you something" Arjun said holding the door

"Where?" Meera asked cluelessly

"Oh my god, can you just come!" Arjun said irritably

Meera sealed her mouth and followed him.

Arjun parked his car at the corner of some place which seemed almost like a blindspot. He began walking and Meera quickly walked towards him to match his pace. It was a rural type of area, trodden roads, shacks and scorching sun, her saree was beginning to feel uncomfortable so she took the pallu and tucked it in.

"If you wanna buy vegetables cheap, do you go to the departmental store or the road side vendors?" Arjun asked, this time very calmly yet sternly

"Road side?"Meera answered meekly

"Exactly! You were looking for vendors in office files! Where you had to look for was in the construction market!"

"Oh shit yes!" Meera said,embarrassed, placing her hand on her forehead,as she touched some sweat

"Exactly! When the vendors know it's our company, they raise the price automatically, but when you go to these roadside ones, pretending to be some common people getting their house made, you asess between a quality of varieties and the best prices!" Arjun explained and Meera listened to him intently, Arjun took out his wallet and took some notes of 500s and put it in his pocket so he wouldmt have to show his fancy wallet. He asked Meera to hide her phone, which she did by giving it to him to place in his pocket since she had no where to keep. He checked it Meera had any chain or rings because the area was infamous for chain snatching and pick pocketing.
"Okay watch this" Arjun said as he went and hopped onto a marble shop there

"Ram ram bhaisahab" he started by addressing the man in the shop, Meera awkwardly followed him learning his tactics from shop to shop,as he flattered the vendors to get quotes and quality from them, while Meera just watched him, 3 hours later he had the vendors finalized.

"Wow, that was so cool! I mean so cool!" Meera exclaimed

"Yes, a trick you need to master to survive with the best budgets" Arjun said as he honked on the car in front of him and took his shades off.

Wow, if I had a heart, it would surely pop out for this dude, poor women who pine for him she thought, she checked her watch, it was 5.30, she jumped off her seat

"What happened?" Arjun said, looking at her incredulously

"I need to be home! By 6!"

"Well I'm going to the office now, so you might wanna take a cab" Arjun said

"Oh my god, Arjun, i know this is going to be you helping me too much in a day, but please please please please can we go home now! Please!!!"

"Meera, dont be absurd! That's exactly why I didnt want to help, because youd start expecting then, I have a lotta work waiting at the office"
