Harry Potter Oneshots

• Coming out of your Shell • Fred Weasley •

You sat in Charms, a bored expression on your face. You looked up at the clock and watched the second hand tick by.

5 minutes until lunch.

You looked back to Professor Flitwick.

"...don't forget the wand movement, the second most important part of the charm..."

4 minutes until lunch.

You leaned over to look at George's sheet of paper.

Super boreeeeed ☃︎ it read.

3 minutes until lunch.

You lean forward to listen to Angelina's and Katie's conversation.

"No way! He did not say that!"
"He did!"

2 minutes.
1 minute.

RIIIING.

You shot out of the classroom, head held down, your hair acting as a curtain.

You were the shy kid at school, you didn't have many friends and kept to yourself. You didn't like loud things and kept to a routine. But routine wasn't exactly known at Hogwarts.

As you walked into the Great Hall, the general hubbub of chatter calmed you. The more the chatter, the more room to hide yourself.

You took a seat at the far end of the Gryffindor table. You don't know why you were placed in Gryffindor, you were the quietest kid at school. No one really knew you.

You looked up as you heard the thud of many people sitting down. You looked up in surprise.

The Golden Trio, plus Fred, George and Lee Jordan, had all come to sit with you.

"Do you mind?" Hermione asked.

"Not at all!" you said quietly.

"You're voice, why's it weird?" Harry leans forward. Hermione scolds him.

"I'm American," you whispered. The small crowd around you ooh-ed and aah-ed. You allowed yourself a small smile, your head down and your hair still acting like a curtain. You start to eat and the others follow in suit.

After eating, you all head down to the lake. You've warmed to them all, especially Fred, who looked out for you and helped you.

You all sat down and Fred wrapped an arm around you. You blushed and looked down as Hermione wiggles her eyebrows at you.

"You guys look like the perfect couple!" Lee points out and everyone starts agreeing and murmuring. Fred places a kiss on your temple.

"Whaddaya say, Princess?" he asks. "I've actually like you for a while now! Be my girlfriend?"

"I- I like you too," you whisper so that only Fred can hear you. "I'd like to be your girlfriend."

Everyone leaned forwards.

"She said yes!" Fred cheers. Everyone laughs.
