I smiled as I watched my brother sleeping peacefully in my bed. I guess after the day's events all he could do was rest.

I wanted to watch him some more but decided I really needed to go for a run to clear my head a bit. Before going though I took out the phone Storm bought and took a picture of me smiling while he slept.

I stared at the picture watching how his red hair feathered over his face and grinned.

Cute as a button.

I put on my work out clothes and took a bottle of water. The sun had already set and I decided to put my hair in a bun and put on a cap to hide my hair instead of that horrid wig.

Okay, the wig wasn't horrible but after wearing wigs every time you go out gets really annoying.

Making sure to lock the door behind myself I started my run in the chilly night's air. As I ran I noticed more things about the town, most people had forested areas behind their houses and they were really spaced out giving a bit of privacy.

I felt a sudden unease in my body. I felt like I was being followed , with a quick glance around while running I noticed no one around me. I picked up my pace a bit and heard hasty foot steps from in the surrounding forest.

Fudge balls.

I ran even faster without any real direction in hopes of losing the person but they were too fast. I knew I couldn't go home because this might put Storm at risk so I did the only thing I could.

I ran until I couldn't anymore and stopped to catch my breath.I would just have to use my powers then. When my legs gave out,I listened for noises but the footsteps had stopped and I was alone again.

Why was I here again?

I looked around the where I had stopped. Even though it was dark I knew once again I was on this clearing .

I had no idea how I kept coming back to this place. A sudden scent hit my nose and I felt intoxicated. I couldn't really described the scent exactly but all I knew was I loved it.

The sound of twigs snapping in the forest in front of me pulled me out of my scent trance that I was in.

I stared into the forest ready to attack whoever was following me while ignoring the increasing intoxicating scent.

"You scared me!" I exclaimed staring at the towering black wolf in front of me. I stared at the wolf in awe, his fur dark as night and his bright crimson eyes. He stood strongly in front of me as though he was showing off himself.

For some reason I wasn't afraid even though I had never seen a wolf this size I felt like this is how they should look. This wolf stood over six feet tall yet I react like I just saw a tiny puppy.

I smiled as the wolf slowly approached me and I slowly reached out to touch it's fur. " You're a big guy aren't you ? I think it's this town, even the people are huge."

The wolf let a loud noise which I assumed meant he enjoyed and accepted my touch.

"Maybe you can tell me why I am here," I sighed and sat on the cold earth below me. I watched him again and guilty that I almost attacked him in his home. "I almost hurt you wolfie." I frowned at the animal and it gave me what seemed like a frown.

I got the a whiff of the intoxicating scent once more to realize it was the wolf smelling so good. "You smell nice, for a wolf," I smiled.

"I thought you were someone following me. I could of hurt a beautiful creature." I watched and the wolf laid down with it's huge head on my lap.

Suddenly a howl came from in the distance and the wolf howled back loudly. For some reason this made me smile.

Without thinking I tried to mimic his howl and he raised his head and literally snorted in my face.

"Firstly, Ew. Secondly I think I did a decent job," the wolf snorted again. "So you got friends, it's just my brother and I. Everyone else is gone, they died and now he's all I have."

The wolf looked at me with sad eyes as though he could understand what I was saying.

" It's okay, once I have him I could manage anything. Hey, maybe I could take you with us when we leave, we can fight those people off together." I laughed at the thought of trying to fit this giant into my tiny car.

"Ah!" I jumped up pushing the wolf off me. I rapidly slapped my neck trying to attack whatever was just crawling on it. Pulled off my hat and tossed on the ground stamping a little to be safe.

But of course this made my bun become undone leaving my red curls to drop down to my waist.

After my freak out I looked over to wolf who was just staring at me. He almost looked happy if possible.

I walked up to him and rubbed his head. By head I mean chin, because I was too short to reach the top.

" I gotta go wolfie, I hope I see you again." I smiled and quickly wrapped my hair up and placed my cap on again before taking off. Wolfie just stood there and watched me leave and I couldn't help but feel bad for leaving.

I ran back home to meet a Storm still asleep so I took a quick shower and hopped into bed next to him.

The sound of his peaceful snores quickly put me to sleep and I couldn't help but think I wish he would be peaceful forever.
