4:10 P.M. - B r i a n a 's P.O.V
"Oh my gosh! Never knew I'll see you here, Jade!" I said after giving him a tight hug.
"You're even more gorgeous than before!" Saad niya habang tinitignan ako mula ulo hanggang paa. Ngumiti ako sa sinabi niya.
"Pala-biro ka pa rin pala!" Tumawa kaming dalawa at bumalik kay Margaux na binabayaran ang bago niyang Gucci bag together with mine.
"Sylvanna, you know I can pay for myself." I pouted before grabbing the bag.
"It's my kind of 'thanks for comforting me'," she paused and looked at Jade beside me. "Who's the hottie?" She asked.
"He's Jade Genesis Abellon, my friend in highschool, he was my happy pill that day." I introduced. Ngumiti naman si Margaux at nakipagkamayan kay Jade bago na kami nagpasyang maglibot libot pa sa CM.
Margaux never stops talking about her luxury life while me and Jade was just listening to her. Nakarating kami sa isang ice cream shop at pumila kami para makabili. Margaux was staring at the strawberry ice cream with disgusted. Hmmm... wonder why?
"What do you guys want?" si Jade na nakaharap sa counter.
"Vanilla,"
"Chocolate,"
Naupo muna kami sa maliit na round table while waiting for our ice creams. Margaux was on her phone and she's busy with something so I didn't bother her.
"What business do you have?" Jade opened up a topic.
"I actually have my own clothing line." Margaux answered still looking at her phone.
"Ikaw, Bri?"
"Kakaresign ko lang sa pagiging saleslady," sagot ko.
"Oh dear, why is a Mendoza only a saleslady? Why don't you come work with me?" She looked up to me with a wide smile. Clothing line? Anong role ko naman doon?
Our ice creams arrived before I could even answer.
"Ew, Vanilla smells awful," she commented while pinching her nose. Awful? Masarap kaya ang vanilla!
"Why? What kind of tastebuds do you even have?" I asked nonchalantly. I took my first bite while she's staring at me with her mouth open.
"I just don't like the smell!" She replied. Weird. A while ago she was happy and talkative but now she's cussing about how awful the smell of vanilla has. Could it be?
"Una na pala ako! I have to see my sister before going to the CC." Nagpaalam siya bago siya tuluyang umalis at naiwan kaming dalawa ni Margaux. After eating and disposing the the ice cream cups, she clings into my arms while pouting.
"I'm sleepy..." she whispered that only I can hear. Na-uh, you ain't gonna sleep yet!
"Your car or mine?"
"I don't think I can drive," she yawned. I nodded and headed to my Porsche. I drove to a nearest OB-Gyne while glancing at Margaux from time to time to observe her actions.
Pinark ko ang kotse ko bago lumabas, ganon rin si Margaux. Nagtatakang tinignan niya ako kaya hinila ko na siya papasok sa loob ng clinic.
"Good afternoon." The OB-Gyne doctor greeted.
