8:40 P.M. - B r i a n a's P.O.V

Matapos kong maihatid si Margaux pabalik sa parking lot sa CM ay dumiretso na ako pauwi sa apartment ko. My body is exhausted from walking around the mall, dagdag mo pa 'yung pagod kong isip. It's a double kill for me.

Naupo ako sa sofa at hinimas ang balahibo ni Cherry. Good thing may milk pa siya sa bowl niya, halatang nagsave siya dahil wala ako.

"You hungry?" I asked Cherry and carried her to her bowl, kumuha ako ng cat food at nilagyan siya sa bowl niya. I sat there looking at her while eating, her white fur still smells like Sayoko.

But instead of Sayoko and Vivian's images showed up, Sayoko's teasing smile appeared to my mind. The way he teased me for not pushing him for every kiss he planted, for every hugs he give me. The laughing Sayoko crossed my mind.

My eyes watered from my thoughts and smiled. He's gone now, the laughing, teasing, and smiling Sayoko. I lost him, and he lost me. Does he even feel hurt by me pushing him away? Did he cry like I did? Or was he happy with Vivian?

Why am I so affected anyway? This is not me... I never liked him. And he's not healthy for me. For my heart and mind.

I wiped my tears and went inside my room. I changed to my comfortable clothes before dozing off to sleep. I need to rest, I need to rest my mind. I need some peace for a moment.

8:40 A.M.

Nagising ako sa pag-ring ng cellphone ko. I checked my phone and it's ate Candy calling.

"Hello?" I answered with a sleepy voice. I heard a heavy sigh before she spoke.

"You like Sayoko?" mariin niyang tanong.

"No-"

"Stop lying to yourself." My lips thinned from cutting me off.

"I know you like him, I can see it through your eyes." she sighed.

"What is it that you want ba? Did you call me for that?"

"No. This Vivian girl is outside of our mansion." napa-upo ako sa sinabi ni ate at tinanggal ang kumot na nasa beywang ko.

"What is she doing there?"

"What else? Looking for you and Sayoko."

"I'll be right there." I said and hung up.

Mabilis akong naligo at nagsuot ng white dress, black blazer with belt and black heels. I grabbed my sling bag before exiting my room and went to Cherry. I carried her all the way to my car and placed her to the passenger seat.

I need to bring Cherry with me from now on, I won't leave her alone anymore.

Nang makarating sa mansion ay pumasok agad ako sa loob at nakita si Vivian na nakaupo sa sofa namin at halatang iritado. Tumayo siya ng makita akong makapasok sa loob.

"You! Ikaw ang may kasalanan kung bakit ayaw sa'kin ni Sayoko!" Sigaw niya sa akin. ate Candy and Kuya Christopher was looking at us, must be tired of talking to her.
