Epilogue

3rd Person POV

"You did WHAT?!"

Cole shrugged, "We destroyed the Storybook of Legends."

Garmadon paced his office, "How...could you be so stupid? Do you realise what you've done?!" 

Ali: Oh, you're probably wondering what's going on. Well, the minute Kai, Jay, Cole, Zane, Morro, Lloyd, Nya, Skylor, Pixal and Seliel got back to Legacy High with Nya's slippers, Garmadon had been waiting for them, with Harumi. He took them to his office and gave them a long lecture on breaking the rules, before thanking them for breaking the curse, and then asked for the Storybook of Legends. 

"Sir, nobody should have to follow a destiny they don't want. When one has that book in their possession, they're free to steal whoever's destiny they desire! If Camille signed Lizzy's page, things would've turned to chaos!" Kai stepped in.

"And if I'm being honest...we've all made reconciliations with others. It's time for you to do the same," Zane added. Garmadon stopped pacing and stared at the Ice Prince, "Huh?"

"We've forgiven and fixed our mistakes with everyone we've had disputes with-"

"Well...some people just won't come around," Skylor muttered. Pixal cleared her throat and continued, "Anyways, we've all had disputes, and we've made up. Now it's time to clear the air with someone from your past." She stopped and looked behind her, at the door, "You can come in now!"

The door creaked open, and an elderly man, with a long beard that nearly touched the ground, and a bamboo hate walked in. In his hand was a staff made from bamboo, "Hello, brother." he smiled, showing him a photo of two boys laughing together, the exact one Headmaster Garmadon had on his desk, "I've missed you...and I forgive you."

"Wu? Is it...really you?"

"Yes. It's been a while, hasn't it?"

Garmadon slowly approached him, "Can we...turn the page? Start a new chapter?"

"I wouldn't want anything else!" The two brothers laughed and hugged each other. They pulled away and Wu scanned the 10 students in the room and laughed, "I see two young lovers preparing to rule their kingdom," he nodded towards Kai and Skylor, "An ice prince, looking for his princess, who I think he's found, a fairy godmother, two music and food lovers, a nifty woodworker who's soulmate is a future knight who doesn't need a shoe to determine her future, a young man with a good heart, too good for evil, and a young prince with the fairest heart."

Ali: Ooh! The two young lovers are Kai and Skylor, the ice prince looking for his princess and the fairy godmother are Zane and Pixal...two music and food lovers are Cole and Seliel...the nifty woodworker has to be Jay, the future knight is definitely Nya, the young man with the fairest mind is Lloyd and the young man with the good heart is Morro! Did I get it? Did I?

The ten students grinned at each other, and grinned at Wu.

"Should we tell them?" Zane asked Pixal. She nodded, "They deserve to know the truth. I mean, we've all grown closer, right?"

"Definitely! Let's go!" Zane took her hand, and the new couple made their way to Jay and Cole's room, where everyone else was. Jay and Nya were engrossed in some deep conversation, Cole and Seliel were listening to music and bopping their heads to the beat, Kai and Lloyd were having a chess tournament and Morro and Skylor were spectating.

Zane cleared his throat, "We have something to tell you guys,"

Lloyd shot up, "No! Don't tell me; you're engaged, no! Married, pregnant? Divorced?"

Pixal snickered lightly, "No! We're...not human. We weren't born like you guys...we were built..."

Everyone looked among themselves, before back to the young couple. Nya tilted her head lightly, "Sorry to burst your bubble...but we kinda already knew."

Zane frowned, "How?"

Kai moved one of his pieces, "You guys are pretty obvious. Fact the first: you both take things way too seriously. Fact the second: the two of you are extremely smart; you know things that none of us have ever learnt about. Fact the third: I noticed a can of oil in your wardrobe, the kind used for mechanical stuff and everything clicked. Fact the fourth: Checkmate!"

"O-Oh..." Pixal was stunned, "We're still good though...right?"

Skylor grinned, "Of course! Nothing's changed; we're all gonna be friends forever after!"

Ali: As time went by, Wu's predictions came true. Lloyd became King, and ruled beside his cousin, Morro. Jay started a woodwork business, and is very well known for it. Nya became one of the most feared knights of the kingdom, and she and Jay got engaged. Kai and Skylor got married, and ruled over Skylor's kingdom together. Zane and Pixal realised that the Royal life just wasn't for them, and moved into a cottage together in the countryside. Cole and Seliel started up a restaurant and went out of business immediately after, so they became teachers at Legacy High. Everything was falling into place. They were following their hearts and writing their own destinies. And so should you.
