Nang makabalik kami sa table namin, ay iba ang tingin sa'kin nila mommy at daddy. Na para bang may ginawa akong malaking kasalanan, they're both looking at me with their brows raised.
"Mm-hmm..." Dad said while nodding.
"Yes, dad?" I asked.
"May pa-kiss." Bulong ni dad kay mom at tumango lang si mommy.
"Nako, Leah Angeline." Mom chuckled.
Habang ako ay tulala pa rin sa kanila, ganun din si Philip.
"Ano sinasabi nila?" Philip whispered in my ear.
"They saw you kissed my forehead."
"They did?" His eyes widened.
I just nodded.
"M-Mr, and Mrs. D-De Luca.. I could explain..." Pagdedepensa agad ni Pip.
"No need, Mr. Echano." My dad chuckled. "It's okay. As long as, cheeks and forehead lang."
Philip nodded, and we sat down our seats.
"Philip, will you really marry my daughter one day?" Mom seriously asked, which made me nervous.
"Of course, Mrs. De Luca. I did everything, just to make her mine, and I will marry her and love, and care for her until my last breath." Philip answered.
I held his left thigh, which made him jump a little and look at me.
"I love you." I whispered, and smiled at him.
"I love you, too. Mrs. Echano." He playfully winked at me.
A few minutes has passed, Philip has been called on to the front of the venue, to blow his candles.
"Be with me, in front." He said.
"W-what?" I stuttered. "It's not my birthday Philip, it's yours!"
"Eh, gusto ko kasama ka. Gusto ko mag-blow ng candles na kasama ka." He said.
"But, Philip..."
"Dali na, please." He urged.
"Fine, pasalamat ka mahal kita." I rolled my eyes.
"Mahal na mahal din kita, asawa ko." Kumunot ang noo ko at nilingon ko siya.
"We're not married yet, so you have to wait." I chuckled.
