Calum(12 yrs)
You collapse on your bed after a really long day at school. When you were younger if you had a long day and were tired,when you got home you would cuddle with Calum and watch movies while eating ice-cream until you fell asleep. You reach for your phone and take it from your bedside table. You open your messages and text Cal.
Hey Cal. How are you? Just thought I'd see how you are :) xx
You sigh and drop your phone on your bed. You begin to fall asleep as your phone dings. You pick it up and see a message from Calum.
Hey baby girl. I'm fine wats up??
You type a reply and feel the tears start to roll down your cheeks.
Nothing. Just miss you right now. It's been a long day :( x
You wipe the tears and turn on some music as your phone dings again.
Aw I miss u 2. I'll be home soon. I promise. Skype??
You smile and type back a quick yes as you long onto Skype on your laptop. You and Calum talked until you had to go and his lame effort to cheer you up worked.
Luke(14)
This year the annual family's get together was being held at your house but it was clear to everyone that not all the family was present. Your older brother Luke was away on tour. Everyone knew how close you were with Luke and how much you missed him. People knew not to bring it up.
You sit on the sofa beside your mum and take out your phone. Your aunt walks in and sits on the sofa across from you. "So Y/N how are you?" She asks you. "I'm fine" you reply not looking up from your phone. "And how's Luke?" She asks and you feel your heart drop. "I don't know. " You say and stand up and run up to your room.
You cry into your pillow until your phone rings and you answer it.
"Hello" you say. "Y/N?? What's wrong?" You hear Luke's voice filled with worry. "Nothing" you say and smile. "I just really miss you" you say. "I'll be home soon Y/N" he says and you talk for another hour about life until your mum calls you back downstairs to spend time with family.

Today you were having some of your friends over for a sleepover and you had looked forward to it all week. You were in your room setting up movies and you heard your phone beep. It was a text from your brother Ashton.
Have fun tonight babe. I'll talk to you tomorrow xx
You smile as you read the message and then hear the doorbell. You run downstairs and open the door. You greet your friends and show them to your room. Your about to press play on the movie when your friends speaks up. "Y/N who's with you in this picture?" She asks holding up a picture of you and Ashton at one of his gigs. He was sat at his drums and you were standing behind him,bending down with your hands on his shoulders. "Oh...thats my brother" you say and your voice trails a bit at the end. "Is he here?" She asks and you shake your head. "No. He's with his friends in the US right now." You say and fight back the tears. You take out your phone and take a picture of the photo of you and Ashton and send it to him and text him saying.
I miss this Ash :( I miss you:(

You have your radio on and right now they are playing Green Day American Idiot. When that song ends the song Good Girls by your brothers band comes on. You've been really missing him lately and this wasn't helping. You changed the radio station and the song Try Hard by your brothers band was on. You sigh and text your brother.
Hi Mikey. I miss u and I'm trying to forget about it but your everywhere. I'm pretty sure every radio station is playing your songs.
Not even a minute later you get a reply.
You shouldn't even bother trying to forget me,its impossible. I miss u to hun xx I'll be home soon.
