Rhegan's POV

Hindi maipinta ang mga pagmumukha namin nang tuluyan na nga kaming makarating dito sa Amerika. Mababaw lang ang lipad at maaliwalas ang panahon kaya kitang-kita namin ang kabuoan nang Amerika. Hindi namin lubos akalain na magiging isang abandonado ang pinakamaunlad na bansa sa mundo.

United States of America is now just a destroyed, full of infected and abandoned country far from being modern and prosperous country.

"I never thought that my hometown will be this fcked up." I heard one of my classmates said. I turn to see my other classmates who were also busy looking at the windows. We still don't know where we are heading at.

Lester, the only soldier survivor stood up from his seat. Ivory jumped up her feet as well and followed him to the control room. Out of my curiosity I also followed the two. When I get inside, Lester and Kalem were talking about something, I then went to Ivory to ask.

"What's up with him?" I asked her.

"Well, fortunately despite of the big destruction in almost all cities in US there is a place where lucky survivors, military etc. are there. The US military contacted him and told us to go straight to Arizona." She said.

"Where in Arizona?"

"It's in Yuma Proving Grounds, you know that wide ass land where we once been there just to play some guns that we bought from the black market."

I nodded in agreement and gazed at my brother, he was still controlling the wheels while talking to Kalem and Lester. Bumaling ang aking atensyon sa labas na tanging ulap at usok na nagmumula sa mga nasusunog na gusali sa ilalim ang nakikita. Nakikita naman ang mga lugar sa bawat siyudad pero masyado nang Malabo dahil ulap at usok.

Matapos ang kanilang pag-uusap ay pinabalik na kami sa aming upuan dahil lalapag na rin kami sa Arizona. Ang Arizona ay ang tanging lugar na walang infected, halos doon din papunta ang mga survivor and most of military soldiers are there too. Walang mga sundalo na isasakripisyo ang buhay sa labas nang Arizona dahil sa dami ba naman nang mga infected at idagdag pa ang di mamatay matay na infected kahit tadtarin mo pa nang bala. Arizona is slowly being surrounded by high concrete walls, binabantayan lang ng mga sundalo ang mga gumagawa ito'y ayun sa mga post sa social media na nakita namin ni Ivory.

"Ladies and gentleman, this is your leader, Tristhan. I would like to request to turn off your phone and listen attentively to me. It is very heart breaking as we soared above every cities in USA. Fortunately, there is a place where survivor, militaries and even Alli are there. We will land at approximately 10 minutes in Arizona most specifically in the main landing area of Yuma Proving Grounds. US military will be there to lead us to our training grounds and facilities. We will be given one week of training, preparations, and to learn more about our mission. Although, we have never been this complete in a one mission, I hope everyone will cooperate and protect each other. This mission is far from the missions that we have done, our situation is difficult and very unfamiliar to us therefore everyone should be ready physically, emotionally, mentally and even spiritually. Our enemy is dead and it's awful. May God bless Divine Congress!"

We landed at the main landing area of Yuma Proving Grounds and everything seems usual and same. Dozens of tanks, aircrafts and other military transportation but considering the fact that there's more soldiers here than before, it's probably because other military area are destroyed or have been attacked by infected.

I've been here many times for our training at para makipagsabayan rin sa mga sundalong nagtritraining palang. Dating isang military trainer si Mr. Kaufman or should I say my Father kaya madali kaming nakakapasok dito kahit bawal. I wonder if nandito pa yung mga sundalong naging kaibigan namin at mga baguhang sinabayan namin sa training.
