THE H/C HAIRED girl snapped out of her daze at she felt her whole room shake vigorously. Her walls were cracking and small bits of debris were fall off from her ceiling.

Shit.

She knew exactly what.. who was causing this. Vanya. But Y/N knew Vanya wasn't herself anymore.

Before a big chunk of debris had fallen off above her, she was fast enough to create a protective forcefield around her. After that encounter, she ran out of her room to meet up with her siblings who had he same worried expression as hers.

"Yo, what the hell is going on?" Diego asked as he paced by the hallway.

Klaus had just got out of his room, "Are those explosions coming from–"

"Vanya." Pogo finished his sentence, "We need to get to safety outside the Academy." He said to all of them. Diego and Klaus were the first ones to oblige. "Don't forget Mom!" Luther reminded.

Y/N turned to the butler and gave him a nod, "See you on the other side." With that, she turned tail and ran without turning back.

It was at this moment, she knew the apocalypse wasn't over.

The girl found Grace by the window, calmly watching as the sky went darker and darker. Y/N grabbed her by her right arm to get her attention, "Mom, we need to get out here before the Academy goes down, come on!" She urged before pulling Grace with her. But the robotic mother didn't move.

"Mom!" She called out.

"I'm sorry, my sweet Y/N. But I'm not allowed outside of the house." Y/N could've sworn she saw a tear slip out of her mother's eyes.

"But, I can't just leave you here." The girl's voice was breaking.

"Yes, you can. All you have to do is run towards the exit without me." Grace explained as she wiped off Y/N's tears, "Now go." She whispered.

The E/C eyed girl didn't have a choice but to follow her orders, "I'll never forget you, Mom." She said before she started running again.

She didn't look back. Not even once. She knew it would only slow her down. Until she heard Pogo's grunt from the living room.

Her heart dropped when she saw Pogo pierced through the pointy antlers of a deer's head. Tears welled up in her eyes from the sight of the ape whom she considered as her first friend.

Y/N wanted to save him so bad. But she knew she couldn't do anything about it anymore. And she knew Pogo would wanted them to carry on without him.

When she got out, she hid somewhere safe and squeezed her eyes shut as she shakily let out her breath and swallowed down the lump that was caught in her throat.

Number Eight watched as the building crumble down like a cookie. She wondered where her siblings were. Until she found Diego approaching the building.

"Klaus, come here. Help me search." He ordered at Klaus. He was finding Grace.

Y/N walked up to them, gaining her balance as she stepped on chunks of fallen debris. "Y/N, help me look for Mom." Diego noticed her when he heard her footsteps. It became harder for her to prevent her tears from rolling down to her cheek.

"Diego." Klaus called for his attention, "Just stop it. Stop." He took a hold of his arm, accepting the fact that their mother was gone. Though Diego couldn't do the same thing.

"What-- Let me go. What are you doing?" Number Two struggled to get out of his grip. Klaus pulled him up, "She's gone, okay? She's.."

"What do you wanna do? You wanna-- wanna.." Diego struggled to speak with his stutter, "walk away from this, the both of you?" He glanced at both Klaus and Y/N.
