THE NEXT MORNING was nowhere near from being an amazing one. None of them were able to fall into a deep, peaceful slumber after last night's horrid events. The only place that was still standing was the Hotel Obsidian.

At the same time, the next morning was nowhere near from being horrible as well. Although the Kugelblitz was inevitable, the next morning was completely neutral. They had mixed feelings, but it wasn't too extreme that it made their stomachs churn.

"So, how is it that we're still here, but the whole universe is going down the cosmic shitter?" Allison even questioned as to why they weren't included in the pile of dust that had been swept away, rather than being frightened of the current events.

Since no one knew how to answer her, Viktor spoke on behalf of them. "Maybe we're just the last to get flushed."

"Wasn't talking to you." Except he didn't know Allison wasn't speaking to them as if they were in a group discussion. His eyes rolled to the side as started to dislike the attitude she was showing.

Luther then noticed something. "Hey, has anyone seen Klaus?" He interjected. Klaus had been gone since yesterday. For some odd reason, Luther found it impossible to accept if the Kugelblitz gobbled him up just like so. Not to mention, Reginald didn't exist in the same room as them. "Or Dad?" Sloane added.

"They'll be here." Diego liked to keep his hopes up, for he knew Klaus had the ability to come back to life.

Ben, on the other hand, thought the lace of hope in his voice sounded stupid. "Really? Did they... hit traffic?" He mocked.

Five and Y/N had grown to give into their exhaustion and reluctantly accepted the fact that idling was the only option left. Y/N sat on the platform by the chairs, letting the boy be alone with his thoughts by the railing as she slowly took a swig of her hot coffee.

"Look, people, we're alive because we're special," though not all of them had the same mindset as theirs, "right?" Ben planned to keep his pride that way. "We're the only ones who can save the universe."

Allison continued to shoot down everything in a satire way. "Didn't we just try that and fail miserably?" She rebuked as she let herself be engulfed by apathy.

"Yeah, it's because his plan was stupid." Diego followed up with a slander. In which Allison hummed to. "I got a better one." Though there was no hiding the fact that he, too, was still determined to prevent the remains of the universe from being sucked into the Kugelblitz.

"Of course you do." Y/N muttered under her breath, unconsciously in unison with Ben as she kept her palms warm by holding her ceramic mug filled with the hot beverage.

But that didn't stop Diego from going on with his so-called scheme. "We go with the large hard-on particle accelerator. And you guys do some Science. And..." He then made a baseball swing motion as he clicked his tongue, "...we launch the Kugelblitz into outer space."

Diego couldn't help but grin at his own idea. "Didn't think I knew that, did ya?" He said, "It's in Switzerland."

Though Ben only found it hilariously stupid. He was too confident over nothing, he thought. "It's 'hadron', not 'hard-on'," he corrected, before adding something that made up for his condescending self, "ya moron!"

"Oi! At least he's trying, you shitty little squid." Lila began to defend the provoked Diego, "What have you contributed?"

Diego decided to shrug it off himself. "Actually, he did blow up half of his family." He pointed out. Now Ben was the one who was getting angry.

"Oh, you wanna talk about family problems?"

By then, the rest of them had no choice but to watch yet another petty scene between two siblings.
